The Random Thought Thread

I think it’s funny a lot of people wanted Kitchens to replace John. That guy would’ve been a disaster. I’m not sure if it’s entirely on him or CLE because the latter is certainly to blame but wow what a dumpster fire they are. They’re totally dysfunctional with so much talent.

I know he's not a heisman winner (so it cant be the heisman package) but what if we brought in kaep and had a triple qb option play with lamar, rgiii and kaep on the field all at once?

now we're cooking with gas

Dont bring up kap here lol. People dnt like him.. tbh, we should grab kap to prevent people from trying to replicate our offense in practice

I really dont want Kap and bring in that kind of attention. We already have enough attention as is and our locker room is as tight as they can be rn. Has nothing to do with what he did but we all know how the world will react

this was related to the news that he's basically getting his own veteran combine type thing this saturday - i think the nfl this year has turned a page with regards to its views on kaepernick and those sorts of issues (or at least the leading voices in the media etc. are different now to then)

i was joking that we should bring kaep in for that package (although it would be awesome) but there's no reason to think now that any attention kaep brings to any team would be anything more than outside noise - he's a guy who has the respect of most of the players in the league and it seems like the majority of coaches dont care about the other stuff - there's a subsection of fans and owners who dont like kaep and his buzz but it's not the sort of thing that would i think affect a locker room at this point

So we cut DE Ufomba Kamalu today. Usually I'm good with all of the roster transactions, but I had no idea who this guy was.

he came in after the trade deadline during the bye after we failed to make any trades for pass rushers - was the second former patriot we added to our roster during that off-time pre-patriots and he hasnt been active in either of the 2 games since - basically a stop gap unless/until something better came along or we needed the roster spot - but now we need the roster spot so he's gone so nothing to worry about lol

Am I the only one who just isn't worried about the Rams game? I keep seeing people bring it up when talking about the tougher games this year.

Well to be fair, we fared pretty well in LA last season. Thought we would've had a better representation in their home stand but whatevs.

I’m not. Goff is cheeks, straight up, and gurley isn’t gurley anymore, cover their talented receivers and Goff will hand us that game on a silver platter.

So I don't know the rules around flexing, but what's the chances the Niners game gets flexed?

Edit: never mind they ain't going to flex Texans Pats
