The Random Thought Thread

I believe any decision to rest or start starters week 17 will be about what is best for us and not what’s best for other teams. I don’t think impact on other teams will play into our decision. It’s about staying sharp v risk of injury. I think we go with staying sharp but if we suffer a significant injury it will never be lived down.

As Harbaugh said though. We’re not there yet. Let’s beat CLE then we’ll hear what the team is thinking.
100% the team must focus on beating the Browns. We can worry about all that when this game is over. One game at a time, that is how you stay focused.

I reckon we’ll get prime time games against the chiefs and texans - the nfl is gonna want to sell the hell out of this young triumvirate of qbs and their rivalry
Hell yes and I’m here for it.

This is gonna be a very fun era of football for the next 4 years or so at least. Call me crazy but I kinda hope the Steelers can find a QB to at least make them relevant, to have all that young qb rivalry in the afc and ALSO reigniting a new era of ravens and Steelers rivalry would be great for football in general. It would make the Brady-Peyton-Ben threeway rivalry pale in comparison.

I don't know about paling in comparison as that was a great 3 way rivalry, but a rivalry would be good, but I'd like to see the Steelers suffer like we did from 1996-2008.

I’d like to see it too, but I enjoy football so much more when there’s more drama and competition. 08-11 was incredible between the ravens and Steelers and id love to get that 2-3 times per season dramatic af high stakes games back

they had their chance to draft Lamar Jackson and blew it. I had the Patriots or Bengals taking Lamar Jackson in 2018 and both blew it. Hell the Patriots passed on him twice.
