sounds about right to me. Not sure why the league needed to interfere, although it is the NFL, so there is that.

I said that Joe Burrow was legit and he wasn't going to be bust like these types sometimes are. Obviously we're not even 1 quarter into his career, but he and the Bengals look awful.

I think Burrow is going to be avg or maybe a little above avg, but you can't write him off this early

Hahaha of course. Not writing him off at all. I just wasn't expecting him to take that many sacks and throw some bad backwards passes.

They are. Burrow actually had a nice 23 yard run. The game as whole has been quite bad though.

That's exactly right. I don't think the Bengals will really pose a threat to us this year. Not just because of Burrow, just the team seems pretty bad.

If we were willing to give up a draft pick for Clowney this year, I assume we would have wanted to extend him. Does this mean we might go after him next year? I don't see how we could afford him, but also can't imagine we were willing to give up what was probably a fairly high draft pick for a one year rental.
