Can we be sure that the reason for our lack of run game is the oline and not collins? I mean he does tip toe and is hesitate before he hit the holes!

He did add some weight this offseason to prepare for more carries. Seems to have made him a little more sluggish. Esp on those outside runs.

If we can create a lane where he's supposed to run he can succeed, but if he has to find a lane other than that one, he tries to bounce it outside too much. He can make people miss but not when everyone is rallying to the ball. Sometimes he has to take that 3 yd gain and move on.

What holes? He’s not tiptoeing he’s full blown slashing in the backfield because he’s gotta make 2 tacklers miss to get a no gain, when he’s able to make that third and fourth tackler Miss is when he’s able to break a nice one lol.

You guys winning this weekend in Carolina?
I think we stand a very good chance but we will have to wait and see.
We better do. Otherwise our season is definitly OVER.
I’m not sure about that, but it would hurt for sure. We need to be better than 4-4 .500 at the midway point of the season. 5-3 would be good and would bode well after our season’s start

Carolina might have blew a lot of their energy in their Win over Philly. The Ravens will come back strong too from a devasting game.

If we make a move at the trade deadline, I strongly believe it's going to be for the run game. Joe is having a good year, but everyone knows he's better when he has a run game and if we had one I firmly believe that he's bound to have the best year of his career, especially since he has the worst passing defenses ahead of him to end the year. If we can run the Football more effectively, then this offense should, and will take off.
I'd be all for this, but I haven't heard of any RB's being on the block. I was really hoping Collins could be our guy but he's inconsistent and still seems to have fumbling issues. We need a workhorse like Rice was for us. A perennial top 10 pick in fantasy football lol. It would do wonders for Joe.

i remembered i reccieved hell for saying AP is a top 3 rb all time and saying how we should consider hom before we picked up collins: look at him now! Even though he lost a few steps he is still putting in work.

It helps that The Redskins offensive line isn't bad at running blocking either. AP is the same guy that didn't look half as good with The Saints last year until he was traded to The Cardinals. I think this proves that no matter how good the offensive line is it starts with the level of run blocking and scheme.

saints line has been good last 3-4 seasons! They also didnt even give him a real chance from what i remember! Scheme and oline does matter like you say but at the same time saquan oline is much worse than ours and he is still performing well.

The saints didn’t even give him a chance last year. And if you’d watch the Redskins play you’d see AD making his own yards. Don’t be so quick to put it all on the line. If that’s the case than Gurley sucks it’s just his best oline in the game right?

There are very, VERY few RBs in nfl history who have still been spectacular without a decent Oline, and one of them is Adrian Peterson.

Who gave you hell for saying AD is a top 3 RB? He’s absolutely top 5 so i don’t see why saying top 3 is such a crime.

Don't remember that but he's not top 3 all time. Guys like Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Gayle Sayers, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, Faulk etc. are in that top flight. I think AP is definitely top 10 or 15 but you could mix that group around according to a lot of different things.
