Speaking of coverages, do you think some of the members here could put something together explaining coverages or defensive schemes? Kinda like a defense for dummies, which is what I am. I'm sure there are others on the board who would appreciate the extra knowledge as well.

Most of what I know about coverage I learned from @29BmoreBird22

Most Madden players run 4 verts and maybe 2-3 glitchy plays that's it.

I usually run a lot of daggers and look for the ones with the TE seam built in. The deep ins on the dagger beats cover 2 every time with ease and i use the quick seam in case there’s a middle deep coverage

Let's revisit this as the season matures. Bell does ALOT for them every single year especially towards the end of the season when he gets STRONGER and Ben fades....

i mean wink isnt wrong though - its been a trend

and on top of that Conner faces the most stacked boxes in the nfl through 8 weeks - and he's got the most yards vs stacked boxes this year too...

and on top of that Conner faces the most stacked boxes in the nfl through 8 weeks - and he's got the most yards vs stacked boxes this year too...

They eat more clock with him on the field, they literally use him to run them to the finish line. Look at the pts per, it's down and yet they win the same amount of games (marginally better actually) then without him. They need to score more to win or maintain.

Looks interesting to me.

Well above average but I’d rather face Conner twice a year than bell, that’s for damn sure. I don’t understand how the Steelers perform better without him but Bell is legit impossible to stop for 4 quarters

The sad thing is the trade deadline happened before the upcoming Steelers game. If we lose this game , there really is an extremely minimal
chance of making the playoffs. We could have possibly traded some veterans to make us better next year.

We could but those players are too expensive, considering their contracts. Who would give draft pick and pay this much for BW, for example?
