With how well bozeman has been progressing I think he takes the starting LG spot next year. If yanda doesn’t retire. The guards should be in good shape

We desperately need a C and replacement for Yanda.
yes, i'm totally concerned about Yandas spot. we need to find his replacement this offseason, preferably in the draft.

its cool to see akins and herndon up there too tbh - they were both completely side-swiped by the NFL media cognoscenti so i only even found out about them as prospects really late in the day after doing a scour of the depths of the draft grades for every position of Lance Zierlein's database to see if i could find anyone else to research and watch and add

those guys were both buried - Herndon for lack of usage and "rawness' and Akins was buried down as a 7th/priority free agent according to most media analysts and mostly ignored due to being a 26 year old rookie...

looks like the NFL got it right though so far - 4 of those 5 were in the first 5 TEs off the board - and Herndon was the 7th after Ian Thomas...

the only outlier was Mike Gesicki so far

maybe there's a reason most media scouts work in the media and not as scouts
Akins being so unknown was despicable, he was a supreme talent.

Gesicki is shocking, and i whiffed there, as he was my top TE

I will say this - yanda doesn’t seem in his recent pressers like someone close to being done with this game

Now an injury or an off-season clean-up surgery recovery could change all of that mentally but he just seems energised and incredibly invested in Lamar and the future

So while we absolutely should be looking to find our next great interior lineman - my impression is that they’d be playing LG or C for at least a bit

I mean it’s only year 1 but it really doesn’t look good

Also funny that the 2 guys knocked for being “too old” both are on that list

If Hayden hurst keeps progressing like this, and really wakes up in these playoffs, and gets targets, look out. And if Dixon begins getting the bulk of the carries, REALLY look out.

These 2 are my playoff X factors. Hurst springing runs with blocks in space has been an underrated plus to this team, but he’s coming alive as a receiver slowly but surely, Andrews has proven clutch and big play worthy, he strikes me as the type to catch fire in the playoffs, but if hurst also becomes the YAC weapon we know he can be, paired with Andrews where we can show a run formation consistently, and both are real threats, defenses are in trouble.

Kenneth Dixon on the other hand, I just can’t say enough about how good he is, id say he’s our biggest weapon, lamar is the key cog and the biggest playmaker, but Kenneth Dixon in this offense is the biggest weapon, he can catch out of the backfield and can run any lane on the front and he has proven to be basically unstoppable in a 1v1 tackle, getting this guy in space where he gets to take on defenders head up is what this system can do consistently and he will win those 9 times outta 10, LB, safety, don’t matter, he doesn’t go down.

Begin to shift the workload to Dixon over gus, and get hurst more involved, and this offense won’t be stopped by any of these afc defenses

Our real X factor could be Crabtree. Imagine if we do what we do PLUS he catches few in the end zone.

He was gronk 2.0 for me. He has to be most freakish athlete of a TE I’ve ever seen, if goddamn megatron gained weight and converted to TE he would look like gesicki, but for some reason he’s done absolutely nothing. It’s SHOCKING
Remember, he’s on the Dolphins. Give him a year or two and I’m sure he’ll improve.

19 times out of 20 the first tackler isn’t taking down Dixon and it’s amazing to watch
