The Random Thought Thread

I think finally playing a good team we saw our team for what it is:

Jackson had an average day and misses open guys, he'll improve though and didnt play poorly.

Skura and Bozeman are still weak points in our line.

Our cornerback depth is always poor and we got exposed. We need Ramsey but I doubt its going to happen.

I am not sure that the depth is poor, I just think we have been plagued by injuries at the same position over and over. How many times can lose 2 starting CBs and still be strong at the position?

It’s only an issue with teams that are actually somewhat deep at receiver because they can effectively spread you out. That’s why the Cardinals and Chief did what they did to us. Yeah, I’m a bit concerned about going against Beckham, Landry & crew due to their depth as well

That is what I was thinking and where we would need Young. It almost all falls on Jimmy's health almost every year. He sets us back simply because of how talented he really is. It changes EVERYTHING even if Young doesn't play.

2:55 Have a great day.

Wow - didn't realize how much the 9rs almost fumbled away that game. Thankfully, at the end the Steelers returned the favor.

In this small sample, Rudolph didn't look totally dreadful - not good, but not flat out awful. Not much is going to be expected of him, so it will be interesting to see how the Steelers judge him after all is said and done. There are 4 options:

1) He looks so good, they don't need Ben back (that seems to be a serious longshot)
2) He looks good enough to consider to be their QB of the future, but they'll keep Ben for next year and not seek to draft Ben's replacement
3) He looks ok - they keep him around next year but seek to draft their QB of the future in 2021 draft
4) Totally give up on him and cut him lose after this season and draft their QB of the future in the 2020 draft
