Marlon isn't doing himself any favors right now.
Simple traffic stop is zero reason for concern lol

Yep. If he doesn't, FO failed and have no idea what they're doing.
I'd say ours thankfully came through. Stanley qualifies as instant coffee. That's a shot you hopefully don't get often cause no one wants the season that leads to that high of a pick.

Which is why it is sooo awesome to feel that we did not have to draft in the top 5 or 10 to draft our QB of the future.

Yup. The last #1 pick to win a Super Bowl was..... Payton Manning.

Man, I just realized we went 3-0 in October, we were all pessimistic at the start of the month ‘cause it’s our worst one.

I basically view it as he never lied to them, they knew what happened, but they never saw the video.

The reality is... the video changes everything. Even if you explicitly told me what happened, showing me what happens goes to an entirely different level for the general public. The general public largely had no idea what domestic violence looked like. They read about it in the news, and they hear stories, but they rarely see it play out in front of their own faces.

And when they see it, it amplifies the outrage.

In my opinion, and maybe its naive, if the video never surfaces, they never cut him. That was the game changer. And it wasn't because the Ravens didn't know what happened.

I agree with you, I am not sure what people think domestic violence looks like. The fact that everyone was able to see it made it into the spectacle that it was.

That’s why I’m saying thats what tested my fandom because if that’s the case then it meant they didn’t think it was a big deal until the video came out and I have a problem with that attitude but ultimately the fact we have an ultimatum on players with those sorts of issues is a positive that came out of a very negative situation

The moment the video surfaced, I knew they would cut him. They did not have a choice there or face public backlash.

There certainly can be different degrees of what transpires in domestic violence, but we saw the net result of the incident before the video of the act itself. When the victim is getting dragged unconscious, well, odds are it wasn't a slap.

A proper palm strike to the jaw is said to have more concussive force than a punch, it’s more than plausible that a drunk woman could’ve gotten an unluckily placed open hand slap to the jaw and gotten knocked out.

plausible sure - not likely though - and the organisation said that ray told them the truth so they knew it wasnt an unlucky misplaced hand (thats also a lot of force even still to knock someone unconscious)

I don't think the difference between a punch and a "proper" slap is the issue when discussing domestic violence degrees.

I think they were both stone ass drunk and will regret that for the rest of their lives. Alcohol can be a most dangerous drug.

Walking around Arundel Mills, you think Lamar is the only player on the team. Not many jersey selections outside of Lamar. Most were only in Purple too, not black.
