The Random Thought Thread

I wouldn’t call goedert one dimensional, as a receiver he’s one dimensional being nothing more than a jumpball guy, but he was a solid blocker

What I mean is Hurst is more well rounded, Goedert was more productive but also injury prone so I think that factored into our selection.

I think with hindsight we could have gotten more bang for our buck with another position, I wanted Will Hernandez at the time but Im still ok with Hurst.

Per espn:

Garrett suspended indefinitely. Done for the season and maybe next.

Ogunjobi one game

Pouncey 3 games

Ya next season strikes me more as "How dare you risk our trying to fet the Steelers into the playoffs?" Like are you kidding? That and not suspending Rudolph strike me as once again coddling the precious Steelers.

I don't like Mason coming out of this without anything. He initially started everything.

Not gonna lie... im not liking all the lamar hype lol. Its starting to get a bit too much with all the wrong comparisons . Wouldve been better if the hype started late in season entering the playoffs

No he didn’t. Garrett’s dirty low rolling sack near Rudolph’s knees long after the play ended started it
He grabs Rudolph just below the sternum. he doesn't come anywhere near his knees, Flex. That looks like a football play to me and I'm pretty sure Garrett doesn't know the ball is out. I could be wrong on that and I guess Rudolph assumed that Garrett knew the ball was out and took him down illegally. No flag was thrown but if it was anything it would have been 15 yards with nothing anyone would interpret as dirty.

He definitely does his best to rip off Garrett helmet and gets things started.

I think the problem was Garrett didnt break his hold even when Mason was on the ground, also I dont really see the threat of someone underneath you pulling at your helmet.

Thats how I saw it too. It's very interesting how divided people see it.

Fouts compared him to Gayle Sayers and Barry Sanders today. Lol. The truth is there’s never been anyone quite like Lamar.
