Is anyone else enjoying all the praise from sport debate shows? Im spending a few hours on youtube every week reliving the game and watching talking heads sing Lamars praises
I've been so busy and finally getting a break heading into the holiday, so I'm scouring the internet for sports podcasts now.

I'm lapping it up like a thirsty dog.

I hope we never touch Adams. Good player but a major dickhead and WR level drama queen. We don't need crap like that.
The money we'd spend on Adams is better spent elsewhere. We're going to be using a lot of money to keep existing players and extend guys that we want to prevent from ever hitting FA.

NE and Seattle are both in the <20% range on that graph. I guess Billichick’s butt is still sore over that 4th and 2 fail against the Colts a few years ago. Lol

seattle should be going for it a lot more - pete carroll has no excuses for being so conservative
the pats shouldnt because their offence doesnt convert enough - the analytics probably given them a lower probability of converting than high powered offences and because they cant sustain drives that much the win% difference of a conversion is not as high - my guess is if the pats had a much better offence then they'd go for it a lot more often

You make a good point about Seattle and I agree. They should be going for it on 4th downs more with the QB they have. As for NE it could be that their defense has played lights out for most of the season, and have been out scoring their opponents by a big margin for the most part. But IMO the real difference is at the QB position. With Lamar our playbook is expanded, especially on the short yardage situations. As good as Brady is they don’t have the world class athlete that Lamar is and are limited in possibilities on 4th down.

having a great defence would be a reason to go for it because you back your defence to get the ball back without giving up points even if you dont make the 4th down

It depends on many things. Field position, score, clock, etc. IMO having a bad defense is more of a reason to go for it on 4th down. I can remember the Pees years where I prayed that we would have the ball at the end of the game with a lead or a chance to win. Lol

I’d like to see us do more reads where Lamar goes in the opposite direction of the handoff, it seems most RO’s go toward the strong side but weak side runs could let Lamar use more of the field and dodge fewer defenders.

“Relax. Jackson is a flash in the pan. Honestly, he’s a gadget QB and nfl defensive coordinators (not Butler) will scheme to stop him. I personally feel you need either a backer like Bush to shadow him or an extra safety and then show the offensive coordinator an obvious weakness presnap then before the snap fill that by sliding, doubling whatever to it.
See, what I see from Jackson is he runs the play that the OC tells him and it’s absolutely no reading the defense by him. It’s throw to X or Y or Z because that’s the first and only read. Then if you have a good tackler with decent speed taking away the improv runs, bam he’s done.
I feel the Cheats will have his number next time they play (playoffs) and the rest of the league will copy them for the 2020 season.“

Oh dear

lol. I'm convinced our OL could tell most teams what the next play is going to be and we would still win.
