The Random Thought Thread

jihad ward has been a hell of a pickup. i had a really good feeling that he would realize some of his potential with this defense, even if he just became a competent rotational guy, hes turned out even better than i thought. hes been really making an impact and hes doing it on a lot of snaps from different spots. hes been one of our better pass rushers from what ive seen.

been really underrated addition - thought he was a reach when the raiders took him in the 2nd round, he was so raw coming out but he's also got the athletic profile to be a really good player

absolutely great work by vince newsome and the rest of the pro-personnel department for finding him after he seemed to disappear in the pros very quickly after he was traded to dallas and then got stuck on practice squads

Yeah I know. I would’ve felt bad had they pulled off that one. Would’ve banned myself for sure. But then again, who lets up that many points at the end? Dean Pees, is that you?

In all seriousness, Texans just don’t scare me for this reason here. They lack discipline in a lot of ways.
