The Random Thought Thread

what are your thoughts on the Titans and how they are playing now.
One could say that the Titans are currently the second hottest team in the league. Tannehill has ignited them and Henry has flipped a switch in the past year. From the end of last year through this he has been one of the top 5 most productive backs in football. Prior to that he looked the part but just didn’t get it done.

I will not be surprised if they don’t beat Houston twice down the stretch and win the division. Their game this weekend is my #1 must see game of the weekend along with PIT and BUF.

Yall say pass defense. Obviously a boost there, but the RUN defense would probably see a huge boost. And this rest for him could prove valuable for the playoffs.
Absolutely. That was my first thought. We know he’s been chillin in Arizona, not really trying, and he’s probably well rested, plus he would get a week off, play 2 division rivals, then another bye, and would fill in as the perfect missing piece, an edge setting OLB.

It’s storybook shit.

This one is shaky. I want Suggs back badly but he would have to clear waivers from 31 other teams which would be tough to imagine. I also question if the team will do it since essentially they have a solid rotation right now and Suggs doesn't play ST either. There's someone I'm sure we could let go, but we would be sacrificing depth or STs.

Bowser has stepped up significantly and made plays since pretty much being called out. Ferguson needs to get better against the run, but I think the team has adjusted well to that as a whole and some of the "issues" there are a bit overblown. I know I've overreacted to them myself but the team has done well enough to adjust.
You think it’s overblown until we have to face Tennessee in the playoffs and the best power sweep RB in the league runs for 250 and knocks us off

This is not the season to shrug off run defense issues, Tennessee and Pitt and buffalo are all able to knock anyone out of the race due to run game and defense, we’ve seen it as ravens fans, where we inexplicably beat a superior team in the playoffs because we run the ball all over them

The difference between harbaugh and every other coach is staggering
I saw that live and remember saying on here that Gase doesn’t like anyone but himself. He’s such a tool

I agree, I want to watch both games.

TEN worries me the most of any team we could face in the playoffs. Dean Pees can be garbage but when he wants and when his guys actually execute what he puts down he can do some great things. That team is definitely my top concern. And then they have Henry and that OL is pretty damn good with some good weapons at WR. Tannehill is OK but his supporting cast is good

I know it's really, REALLY weird asking this two days after the game, but did Joe Buck actually call Lamar Jackson thick during the game?

I’m still rooting for TN this Sunday because it is the only reasonable way to bounce the Steelers from the playoffs. If they get in and win in the WC round we’ll likely face them unless they take the division and Texans or Steelers beat KC as the 6 seed.

We've had issues really in the first half when teams come out running against us with some good design runs. We've done well lately to execute and if it were such a big deal we would be having issues adjusting to the run. I think the issues are really communication with gaps and assignments.

That's an expensive beer.

Anyone think we'll ever find out where this money goes?
the NFL gets it and I think it goes to charitable causes like supporting retired players. Could be numerous different causes though, including disaster relief funds.
