Thoughts on using "we" and "us" and similar teams when talking about the Ravens? I think it depends on the context sometimes, but in general, it feels to me like the team represents Baltimore and Maryland, so the fans are as much a part of the team as the actual players. People making comments like "oh, when's the last time you made a tackle" or "what number do you wear" just comes off as being douchy. Anyone else feel that way, or is it just me?
The people making a comment about your use of 1st person pronouns when talking about YOUR sport team are either non sports fans that don’t understand the nature of following sports or are sports fans who speak the same way but are selectively trolling.

The non sports fan needs to just STFU regarding anything sports related. These would be the same people who will respond to your anger or disappointment over a sporting event by saying “it’s only a game” and you show restraint in not choking them out. They feel our involvement in sports fandom is a waste of time, but may at the same time be in love with the fucking “Bachelorette”. To each his own.

Terrell Suggs really wants to be a Raven again. Said if any other team claims him he may not report. How long does it take for a player to clear the waive wire? Not sure if he has anything left in the tank or I would want to make any changes to our team right now, but we could use some more pass rush. This may get interesting.

This warms my heart.

First the reports that he saw us building something new here and didn’t wanna get in the way, then he basically said he planned on fucking off for a whole season and he refused to do that to us, and now this...

I really hope we can do it, he’s rested because he hasn’t been really busting ass this season, and at worst he can solidify what has been the biggest weakness on the team with our edge contain, he would get to relive 2 division rival games one last time, get to rest a week, then make one more playoff run with his squad.

That is my biggest worry. We have been getting gashed by runners on the edge. I remember Mixon gashing us and the runningback from San Fran gashed us hard.

I was born and raised in California and have been a Lakers fan since Kobe was drafted. Trust me, it’s nice, but I still can’t stand LeBron lol

Also, I really enjoy watching the Kings lose. They’re the Browns of the NBA and their fans are insufferable
Worse than Warriors fans?

God no, but I have to admit that it was an absolute pleasure watching GS play these last few years. Homegrown talent sans KD. Gotta respect it. Lakers are lucky because we never have to develop players (they end up being average), so instead we’re able to sign or trade for big names lol

Tannehill throws a pass that bounced out of the hands into Whitney Mercilus arms. He ran it back 88 hards. Texans about the score...at 12 yard line

I believe if he’s NOT claimed (which would make sense for the Ravens not to claim him and just sign him as a FA), it would be tomorrow at 4pm EST.

correct. If he is claimed by us, it would mean we would have 2m dead cap next season due to the 2 yr contract he had with Arizona. However AZ 2nd year was a voidable year with no salary. There was only a 2nd year to spread out the guaranteed money.

People who get anal about "we" are just trying to look smart. And that's coming from a professional grammar pedant (as in, I've literally gotten money to nitpick the word structure of professional writers). It's like people who make a big deal about the singular "they" - the person knows a thing and they're trying to bring up that thing whenever they can so they feel smart. Dunning-Kruger in action. Even if you ignore that fans are as big a part of the team as any (in ways that aren't the case for other businesses), it just makes it clearer who you're referring to, as well as less awkward sounding.

If you say some shit like that to me, the convo is over. I’m talking football here and about my team, if you pull that I’m simply gonna let you know that you are lame ass clown and not worth a conversation.

I see it all over twitter, but I guess that's my fault for reading the twitter comments, lol. Glad to know I'm not the only one who finds that shit annoying af.

Nah, that’s a wack ass argument and I have no respect for your opinion if you pull that “wE? dO yOu PlAy FoR tHeM?” Nonsense
I’m with you. Shit’s annoying. Don’t be a smart ass. My grandpa says that to me all the time
