I remember some wanted Noah Spence

People were pissed we didn’t get Spence for some reason.

Remember many wanted him or Jack. I would have been happy with either and think both would have had success here, but who knows.

Couldn't have been worse than Correa.

Correa ugh… what a waste of talent and a pick

Never bought the Spence hype but also not a big college guy.

Randon as hell but Reed is a prophet. Skip to 2:50

It’s all a conspiracy. Lamar was built in a genetics lab for this team 20 some years ago. Reed accidentally let some of the prophecy out before it came to be

my biggest take away from that is im like 90% sure Ed Reed was left handed. But to warm up he was throwing with his right? weird.
I know he was marked as left handed in madden.

On side note this thread above is why I love this community so much and never would want to expand it to stupid reddit "ravens" fans

A 2015 video about ed reed making a comment on the #8 qb. Only on purple flock. We are all nuts.

I wanted Michael thomas or Noah Spence. I actually did like Correa pre draft but with the talent on the board I was fairly bummed about the pick

I remember hating both him and Kaufusi. I still to this day believe the front office was either loaded out their minds or they were held hostage and told to draft those two. Very bad picks

Their only saving grace was Judon in the 5th that year. I was excited about Kaufusi , thought he would play Jarret Johnson role …. Not so much

The thing that sucks most about Kaufusi is that he was supposed to more "NFL-ready" due to being an older draft pick, but then he had a bad injury in his rookie year that he never seemed to recover from (at least when he was on our team). Judon might have been the only good pick in that abysmal draft.

I hated kaufusi, never understood any of his hype, he wasn’t draftable to me.

I think that was just the beginning of the end for ozzie, I think after 15 and 16 back to back everyone started to feel the game had passed ozzie by, and they started implementing decostas ideas and were just waiting for Ozzie to gracefully call it quits.

Uh, Stanley? Tavon?

They were in that same draft? I guess that kinda salvages it a bit, but it was still a pretty bad draft overall.
I would say it was average. If you can get three quality starters out of really any draft, I think it's pretty decent.

2013 gets crapped on a lot, but we got BWill, Juice, Wagner and Jensen out of that draft.
2014 wasn't good. It was basically CJ and a bunch of depth players.
2015 doesn't look any better than 2016. Boyle is the only guy still on the roster, and the other two strong players we drafted are performing well for others teams (ZaDarius, Waller)
2017 you got three quality starters (Marlon, Bowser, Clark)
2018 was a great draft, but is also probably an outlier (Lamar, OBJ, Andrews, Averett, Elliott, Bozeman)
2019 doesn't look good to me right now at all and 2020 is still a ?

What is clear, and was reflective of our team during that time, is from 2014 through 2017, we just did really fucking bad at drafting quality offensive players. We got Stanley and Boyle, and that's literally it, over a four year period.

hopefully he has an offensive line that can protect him

Wonder if he'll get the itch to comeback and play in the NFL. Shame he retired before all these young QBs today got drafted. Imagine these QB matchups:

Luck vs Burrow
Luck vs Murray
Luck vs Herbert
Luck vs Lawrence Twice a Year
