I could see him being ranked 2nd to last or last currently but ideas changing as the season progresses. Herbert is special. I shit on him when he was coming out and he has been a surprise. Respect his game

I don’t see how he could or should be ranked last or 2nd last, he’s far more accomplished than any of them and with less surrounding talent.

herbert though, I too wasn’t high on him at all, I was dead wrong, he’s a baller and I think this list is gonna be Lamar 1 Herbert 2 Allen 3, lamars intangibles I think are gonna prove to be the difference, he wills his team to wins in ways that others can’t and his competitive fire and great attitude are difference makers, the other guys don’t have it like Lamar

next 10 years:

Allen

only reason dak's so low is because he's 28 already

i wanna see kyler play at this level for the whole season before i bump him up to Mahomes/Lamar level and Herbert's got a chance too

i think allen's really good not great

i think the whole league other than the chargers at 6 were dead wrong about herbert - he played in a shit offence at oregon run by a coach who's winless since he left oregon... and he got dinged a lot for being 'quiet' and introverted

people just completely missed on him because Burrow was there and Tua was there - and I think I got too over-excited about the offence that Tua was running - as we saw a year later Mac Jones was able to take that same offence to the promised land with more complex reads etc. (but much less arm strength)

I had Kyler last lol. These things are so subjective but I get why you'd have Dak last for age purposes but think his game will age well. The problem with these things are is what type of team do you have? The best situation of the bunch has to be Dallas. Top wrs. OL and RBs. Next would be Kyler or Allen to me. Herbert then Lamar. I always try to think if you swap out QB here would the team have the same type of success but can't really do that with us because of what our guy does.

Don't feel like typing out a wall of text so I'll just end with this. Hope our guy gets a ring to shut all these damn pundits up and end this "running" qb stigma. Think he has a damn good shot in the next few years.

He has an EXCELLENT shot, especially when we get our top two RBs back and hopefully Bateman progresses as a bonafide alpha WR, plus our best playmaker on defense will be back. I’m just enjoying the ride this year, hoping for the best but expecting the worst because of all of our injuries. Lots of adversity, but our team is used to it. Curious to see how this season ends.

Lots of Twitter folks in that thread actually have Lamar number one, and they aren’t Ravens fans. Pretty cool
