obviously it's early and ben cleveland might turn into something

but im gonna be haunted by the bills taking spencer brown one pick ahead of us - one of my favourite prospects, he plays tackle, he's already starting for the bills... he's long, powerful, with nice feet... i had him in my top 50 - i can't believe he lasted to 93 and i cant believe we picked at 94 lol

could have been a game-changer for our season

Judon really gonna be all pro
guy still couldn't tackle if his life depended on it and he hasn't been that great in coverage, but yes he is definitely being used in a situation where he is creating more pressures and sacks. Imo he isn't worth what the Patriots paid for him. I did feel the Pats would be the best place for him to flourish though and it doesn't surprise me that he is doing well.

Honestly, we gave Judon a lot of shit in recent years, but the dude is a good player. I also think that our scheme may have been holding him back from putting up big numbers because we asked him to do many different things in our defense.
Shit even i gave him shit.. i see now whats really going on lol

As of right now, he is 100% worth what pats gave him.. probably not on our team but on pats, he is worth every penny right now without a doubt

1. Not exactly surprising to find that Belichick is able to put his players in a position to succeed when other teams may not have done it (or done it as well).
2. Easy for them to pay him that much when they're paying virtually nobody they drafted any decent money and had plenty of cap space to play around with.
3. It's still essentially a two year, $32M guaranteed contract. We were willing to pay him $16.8M for one season, so it doesn't look like that much of an overpay to me.

Pretty much agree with everything, wasn't looking at it as a 2 yr contracts so very good points. I didn't want to give him that franchise tag though, thought it was too much, but understand why we did it also. Absolutely agree that BB would put him in the best position to succeed, it was the best place for him to go.

the way you worded this, I'll agree. Definitely worth it for the Pats. My wife is from the MA area and I can tell you that some of the friends and cousins absolutely hate his inconsistency in the running game. He has the ability and has shown it on tape, but was always too inconsistent for my tastes and I'm talking about setting an edge. Pass rushing is another story.

My boy is also a pats fan and ive been telling him how inconsistent he is and was for us, however most people dnt really watch the game how lots of us on the board do.. we dnt only notice the flashy plays, we like the dirty work too..like it dnt matter how bad judon looks or what he lacks, soon as he makes a play i get a text saying how great he is lol.. i gotta admit that the mf is making way more plays for pats than he did with us.. if he ends season with around 15 sacks, i gotta give him credit

Do we re-sign Brandon Williams, Calais, Deshon and Houston, or is our defense going to look different next year? I think AA gets a nice contract thrown his way from another team

i think calais is either staying or retiring
b will is gone - he cant stay healthy and doesnt offer much value anymore
deshon might be retained if he's cheap and willing coming off the injury
houston is probably gone but id imagine there'll be some conversations to see if he's willing to stick around

we will let BWill walk next year and I'm pretty sure Campbell will retire at the end of the year. We may be able to sign DeShon Elliott on a reasonable contract because of his injury. I'm hoping we can resign Houston with another reasonable contract. We will definitely be drafting a DL and Wolfe has a guaranteed contract next season so hopefully he is healthy next year. Sorry to see that he won't be playing this year. I also agree that AA will get signed in FA from another team.

I like Brown but he has an injury history dating back to high school, even this season hes missed multiple games due to back injury.

Alright so I'm heading to Baltimore next Friday for the SNF game against the Browns. For those who have gone to games this season....

1) Do you need proof of Vaccination? I have a picture of my card on my phone just in case.

2) Are masks required or no?
