Lamar won an MVP while his OL had him sat in an armchair despite a very devoid of talent receiving corps

Lamar’s in contention for an MVP with nice receiving talent but a turnstile of an OL and no running game

give him both and watch out

If anything, we need to get a better defensive line period. I think a lot of our issues in the front seven come from the lack of winning on the LOS. Our DL currently gets pushed around outside of Campbell who is seemingly the only DL who shows up on game day. Then our OL gets overpowered which breaks everything down and now we are rushing to make something happen. I think we are set in most aspects of the team, we just need to get better in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Oh yeah. I've been saying this for awhile. Rivals and non-believers alike better pray to the football gods that our OL never becomes adequate AND Dobbins/Gus don't return to form. This will also help with the slow starts as well.

Exactly. I hope we invest heavily in both sides of the trenches. And I mean heavily; if it’s via free agency or the draft

We see eye to eye. This will more than likely take more than one offseason for this to work, but I want us to have a top 5 OL and DL in the league.

Brockers is good but it was a significantly higher deal. Not sure if we're able to afford Zeitler if that goes through.

and if they had doubts about his commitment to rehab they’d have known before the draft and we wouldn’t have traded Orlando...

I agree on this. They aren't rocking with AV and Andre Smith as the top two Ts if they had any questions about Stanley. I mean, Mekari and Phillips have literally both moved out there solely out of necessity. I know sometimes you can't fill every hole but I'd be hard pressed to believe that they had concerns about his commitment and did absolutely nothing about it.

would be no reason to do much to that offence except potentially at tackle, re-signing project pat and working out what we’re doing at C with Bozeman

Imo we are gonna have atleast 2 new starters on our oline next season. Now on the defense, we need every position

Hold on I meant to post about this the other day but forgot to, mike Preston who IS in the ravens building and has connections with the team, no matter how bad we dislike his pessimism, he is in the loop, he said, plain as day on 105.7 on Friday morning, basically that the team had to jump on Stanley’s ass about his recovery because he spent the offseason halfassing it and the coaches were pissed. I’ll try to quote it as close as I can remember:

“the scuttlebutt around the castle was that the coaches weren’t too happy with stanley, he kinda laid around the whole offseason and a month or 2 out from camp he decided okay now I gotta kick it into gear, they had to stay on him about putting in the work to rehab his ankle and he just wasn’t doing it”

he went on to suggest that he hopes this blunder of a year gets his head right and he’s learned that he’s gotta be all in, and that the coaches got through to him after his comeback attempt failed.

he was noncommittal about any specifics, but he was very clear to say that the coaches were in fact livid with Stanley at multiple points this offseason because of a lack of effort in his rehab.

as much as we dislike Preston’s takes, he is a legitimate journalist and to the best of my knowledge he has never willingly spread false information as fact.

If we can't beat the Bears, we are in trouble. You guys seem to be alright as long as Rodgers doesn't screw up anymore and miss more games. Just got to compete with Dallas and Arizona for the 1 seed.

I hope so. I feel this is Rodgers last chance at a championship. Well here in Green Bay that is. We seem to have the defense to do it as well.
