ESPN signed away Joe Buck from FOX meaning Buck & Aikman will be the new voices of Monday Night Football. Buck is getting a 5 year deal in the $60M-$75M range from ESPN while Aikman got a 5 year $92.5M deal.

This is why I wanted to get into Sports Broadcasting... holy hell that's a lot of money. Wonder who FOX will get to replace them.

obvious answer is to promote greg olsen... it would be an improvement anyway

by the end of the season was already my 2nd favourite colour commentator in the league... possibly even my favourite tbh depending on the game

You definitely wouldn't be in that range. There is an army of shit paid people in broadcasting, so that Aikman, Romo, Buck, etc can get $15-20 mil / year.

LOL I know. I'd much rather be an analyst discussing the news of the NFL, more like a Kellerman or Stephen A. I would suck at calling games lol.

I thought for sure comp picks would be released no later than today.

i was sure it would be today too... so unless it comes on the weekend, then it comes after the tampering window opens

surely they've got to be released by wednesday and the beginning of the new league year???

you'd certainly think, because that is when trades can begin and ones that have been made become official.

exactly - i mean at this point the teams probably know the formula so know what to expect but it is also worth pointing out that every year there's one or two surprises where a player is up a band or down a band who you werent expecting

yep, that's what I meant. I'm watching it now. Strange it's on CNBC.

it's a shame when big games get ruined by major incidents in the first 2 minutes of a game - ref had no other choice but instantly changed the game and it was inevitable that eventually the england defence would capitulate after spending 70 minutes (so far) down a man

Jarvis Landry can now seek a trade. I have had this picture on my laptop screen for two years. I have been waiting for this.

Enjoy.

this has to be the lastest they have ever released compensatory picks. I believe a couple years ago they came out before the combine and last year it was right after.
