I went on a random excursion through the Ravens' FO listing on their website trying to figure out what Anthony Levine's role is. Came up empty there but discovered that apparently Darrius Heyward-Bey works for the Ravens now as a player personnel assistant. That's a blast from the past.

I think he actually pulls off 44 quite well. I wasn't a fan at first, and obviously jersey holders likely weren't very happy.

On This day in Ravens Draft History... Ozzie called the Vikings to complete a trade for QB Byron Leftwich but the line was busy so the trade never went through. As a result, the Vikings time expired TWICE as they waited for us to complete the trade with the league office. Thus Jacksonville jumped ahead and took Leftwich, Panthers took OT Jordan Gross, Minnesota finally picked Kevin Williams and we took this young pass rusher from Arizona State.
