The Random Thought Thread

Ominous sign lol

I think the investigation by the police has taken place and a lack of evidence has lead to a civil lawsuit Vs criminal. Maybe the Bills read those reports and thought it wouldn’t become an issue like this. Now caving to public pressure rather than hang on to a punter.

This whole thing makes me angry but then I think back to the craze over the Duke lacrosse rape scandal which was 100% a lie. The punter deserves his day in court and if nothing comes of it he should sue the Bills for wrongful termination.

All I ask from people is to wait for all the info to come out before making judgments. Too often now it's guilty until proven innocent.

If what has come out is true though him and Sharper could be bunkmates.

This would have been perfect last year. Poe was the sacrifice this year to keep our players healthy.

I honestly don’t know what this means. My wife is a Nurse Practitioner at a local hospital, she does not deal with this issue but has NP friends that oversea the kits and examinations. They are not done by cops and the chain of custody within the hospital is air tight. Maybe it differs from state to state with police conducting test but here they are required to be done in a medical facility by licensed provider.

I’m just curious why it’s delayed. My guess is something went wrong compiling evidence to pursue criminal charges.

My gut reaction was something along the lines of castrate Araiza, but we have only a small fraction of the story to this point. Additionally there is nothing wrong with asking questions that may dispute the alleged victims side of the story. I can appreciate the prosecutors taking their time as the next 20 years of this kids life could be in their hands. Just think it’s odd it’s taken so long, leads me to believe they don’t have the case.

I only know what I've read and the guy sounds like a skunk, but society is never happy. Victims and the accused and the people who fall on either side of that dynamic opinion-wise want instant justice. It just doesn't happen that way and that causes more unrest bombastic behavior because then the blame game starts and finger pointing with all of the additional arguments about why this party or that didn't do something faster or better or righter. Goodness. The endless seeking of perfection in all things is excruciatingly annoying and tiresome. People need to generally get a grip and understand things happen slowly in justice and courts - particularly when you are dealing with high profile people. Nothing is perfect, but hopefully, no matter how long it takes, justice will be served. But even then, in the society we live in some group is going to be pissed about the outcome and call it injustice and never let it rest. We live in a world of circular argument.

Since Poe is most likely out for the season, I think it would be cool if they brought Edgar or Allan back for the season instead of finding another guy to wear the suit. Or just put him out there on crutches.

I heard the San Diego chicken is a free agent. We could bring him in on a cheap one year deal and dye him black or purple.
