The Random Thought Thread

Did not see it on the boards but I thought it was interesting that DeSean Jackson had Baltimore on his list of destinations he would want to play for.

I wonder if that is the start of receivers not looking Baltimore off anymore

DeSean Jackson is on the wrong side of 30, injury prone, and an anti-semite.

I'm pretty sure he's blackballed from the league and rattling off every "good" team in the hopes of getting a final chance.

I know nobody here cares, but... DAMN what a game between Bama and UT. 52-49. I grew up in east TN and so I grew to love the Vols as a kid/teenager. First time we beat them in 15 years, we were both unbeaten playing each other for the first time in a while... what a game...

Now let's go kick some Giant ass tomorrow

Oh there's a number of us who care about college football. I mean, we have a college football thread if you didn't notice lol. What a fantastic game for your offense (defense...............not so much). Your QB was absolute CLUTCH with 20 something seconds left.

The defense went against reigning Heisman winner Bryce Young and the rest of the Bama NFL caliber talent with a walk on DB starting. They did ok

I hope the FO office didn't majorly screw up by not signing Lamar this offseason. Like even him being on the FT next year is super inhibitory to making the team better. FT 2 years from now is truly ridiculous. By signing him they could've probably extended the really flexible window by 2 years but they didn't. This is probably already having impacts on in season trades this year.

They could sign him after the season but how is that going to impact FA? Idk could be wrong, not going to jump to any conclusions, but I just have a hunch the FO already made a mistake with Lamar.

I'm really upset that Boyles career is probably over. Like we've seen a revelation with Stanley's 1/3 of a game. We've really seen a revelation with Dobbins. We're gonna see the same thing with Gus hopefully. If Boyle was able to get back healthy we'd probably be able to recreate that 2019 like running game. Even if it wasn't quite as good. It's a shame.

Maybe it's just so ridiculous to even think Kolar can help, but idk if anyone has noticed, it seems like at least one or two plays a game Likely is motioned in the backfield and he seems totally out of place not even making a block of any kind actually getting in the way of the RB. Kolar is also not a blocker but he's just a bigger body and maybe that can help us. Idk
Speaking of Kolar what kind of injury does he have that has kept him out since the minute he arrived?

That was a fun game to watch yesterday. So disappointed that Taulia got injured For my Terps.

which is why i think a deal gets done before we get to free agency next year
the front office had the ability to let this play itself out and wait this offseason because we still had the franchise tag as a negotiating option next year (still have him away from the open market) - but there's extra incentive for the ravens to get the deal done next offseason moreso than there was this offseason and my guess is that moves the needle enough to get the ravens closer to what lamar wants and it'll get done before we need that cap space
