It’s amazing that the Bengals have one good showing against a team with their top two CBs out (Joe Burrow special), and all of a sudden they’re the best team in the north and the Ravens can’t keep up with them or stop their offense. Weird, it’s almost like we didn’t just play a game against them. Hope the Browns take them down on MNF

agree. Battle of Ohio

This is a real question. Do Tee Martin and Keith Williams know how to appropriately coach WRs on how to play 80% of their snaps in 22 personnel? Like that's not normal at all from the personnel to the route concepts.

Ravens OCs since 2008.

Cam Cameron
Jim Caldwell
Gary Kubiak
Marc Trestman
Marty Morninwheg
Greg Roman

Outside of Kubiak, have any of these guys ever had any real success anywhere? What a disgusting list.
I mean I guess it depends on how you define "success":

Cameron was an OC for five years in San Diego, and an OC for almost five years in Baltimore. So he did a decade as an OC in the NFL for multiple teams. And had one year as a HC in Miami

Caldwell, who people actually loved here, was ironically never an OC anywhere else basically. He did 1.5 years as an OC here, but he did multiple stints as an HC (three years in Indy, four years in Detroit). Has a super lengthy track record as a QB coach.

Kubiak obviously is super-well credentialed.

Trestman as an OC:
Three years in Cleveland
Three years in San Francisco
Three years in Arizona
Three years in Oakland
Two years in Baltimore

Marty as an OC:
Four years in San Francisco
Seven years in Philadelphia
Two years in NYJ
Three years in Baltimore

Romans as an OC:
Four years in San Francisco
Two years in Buffalo

So like basically all of these guys had pretty long tenures of play calling in the NFL before they got here. Caldwell was the only one who never called plays.

You can argue a lot of these guys have done little to nothing since they left, which is true, but that's also partially due to age, health, etc.

Queen has had 3 straight very good games. Could he finally be starting to catch on?
They're using him as a move guy and blitzing him more. He is NOT a traditional mike and is a chase guy. Keep on blitzing. Maybe use as QB spy if needed and keep him as a chase guy. Something I've been hollering about for a long time. He's Zach Orr. Not CJ Mosley.

I think queen is worth keeping around and I think they actually need to move him around much more. I wanna see him used pretty much like a full time pass rusher, not FULL time but close to it. The man is a LETHAL blitzer, for christs sake do it as much as possible and give our pass rush a boost. He’s not helping in coverage most of the time, stop blitzing safeties and corners and blitz queen instead.

although tbf hamilton's rush that got him his first sack was pretty sik too

Hamilton's speed is starting to show up on film.
every time we are in dime I get sad when I don't see him, but I feel for his confidence and future ceiling letting him come in and learn specific things first is incredibly useful. we get pissed at Harbs for decisions, but I fail we overall underrate his ability to coach up players. I love the way we develop guys.

lets also not forget that PQ is only 23 years old.

Hamilton has been a nice blitzer all year low key, has been since notre dame really. Queen is in a role where the qb has to worry about whether he drops or blitzes, I’d prefer the qb having to worry about what gap queen is rushing because he’s always rushing. Let hamilton be the guy that could blitz or drop any given snap.

Basically, rush queen more, drop him less lol

i understand where you're coming from

but queen has been pretty decent in coverage this year and while he adds enormous value as a blitzer, part of what makes him a good blitzer is how well he sells it or times it which are 2 important elements you take away if you make it more obvious he's coming every single play

he's a good blitzer but he's not micah parsons
