I think we would be fine on defense if we had Pierce Williams and Fuller healthy right now, especially with Ojabo and Bowser coming back. Those three injuries hurt.

You keep mentioning Watkins. Did I miss something? Seems he pretty much sucks.

Still plenty left in our season and the competition is pretty bad the rest of the way out. If we can stay/get healthy and improve in some areas you never know what might happen in the tournament.

I don't care what people on here said about Watkins. He was a WR3 and actually a real one at that. Obviously had some health issues but it's not like he was out most of the year or anything. If Watkins was still on this team he'd be playing the amount DRob is and would be far more effective.

It's ok they moved on from him, but shouldve found a more legitimate replacement.
 
Will Levis getting first round hype some places.... middle rounder at best

for what it's worth. Would everyone be calling for GRo's head if we hadn't lost those 3 big leads and were 8-0? I'd say one of those games was truly on the offense, but the Dolphins and Bills game wasn't on the offense. Maybe we could have scored a little more against the Bills, but we were up 20-3 or 20-10 going into the 2nd half.

Honestly, probably. Even without losing big leads we still go on too many offensive dry spells, and most of the time every positive play just feels like a struggle. Nothing ever comes simple even when facing borderline practice squad defenders.

Also, to me it feels like there's never change in his philosophy no matter what guys we have on the field. It's why the offense has been struggling in second halves most of the time.

As a side note that's the reason I'm not wanting to ditch McDonald so quickly, adjustments. Things are still a bit rough but he's clearly looking at what didn't work and changing things, such as really using Queen's and Hamilton's blitzing. Our safeties and ILBs are looking much better than they did under Wink.

The big thing is that team seemed to have the magic factor needed too… makes bragging about the Ravens future success much harder IMO
 
I heard many fans say we could easily be 8-0 If we didn’t blow double digit leads in the fourth quarter.
I personally believe we could be 7-1 if we didn’t have horribly lopsided officiating. Especially in that Bills game, it felt like they actually took that game away from us with beyond questionable lopsided penalties. Jerome Boger and crew robbed us of that win!

I think the play calling in the second half the other night was pretty good. What I didn't like and wish they would stop calling is going for it on 4th and short but I put that on Harbaugh. Its a real momentum killer especially against high scoring teams when the defense is playing bad.

4th and short still has a high percentage of making it and don't want them to stop going for it, but I it really depends on the situation for me.

Watkins started off well last year and then reverted back to the mean and than got injured.
 
I’m amazed the NFL has any fans in England with the product we keep sending them jeez, give these folks a quality match up for once
