Also another example is Hill and Waddle and Geseicki for Tua. Tua is pretty garbage but look what happens when you out elite talent around him.

I think a neutral example would be Joe Burrow. He's had elite talent around him and he's been up and down for seemingly no reason.

An example against would be Kyler Murray. Elite talent around him and he's fucking garbage.

Agree with the Lamar one. He'd be fucking unstoppable. But I don't get the Herbert one. Like clearly he's just a loser right? He has elite weapons and a good running game and all he does is lose games despite padding stats.

i wouldnt call it necessarily padding stats

the reason people get hype about him is because he makes at least 1 insane throw every single week (by insane i dont mean poor decision, i mean very few people in the league could make that throw and it requires ridiculous arm strength, timing and precision)

but yeah i wouldnt put him with the others because he's been surrounded by weapons and has even had some decent OL at times
but has not been able to get over the chargers never-ending cursed inability to get out of their own way

Yeah I didn't mean it in the way like he's out for his stats or they are always so behind its always garbage time. It's just that he is constantly putting up numbers and just not winning. His HC certainly isn't helping.

i know he still holds onto the ball too long but... fields still feels like the only one of these 2021 QBs who really looks like he might be something

trevor lawrence has gone under the radar because lance has been injured, jones has been unconvincing and wilson has stolen all the poor QB thunder but he's not been good either
