Fans…..they’re the worst. Lol
I gotta be fair, the fans from Pitt are generally pretty good people. Its the endless droves of bandwagon fans that have never stepped foot in western penn that seem to be the most obnoxious

Yeah I think this is pretty true. There are some real Pitt fans that understand they are in a rebuild and are trying to give Pickett time to develop. But there are other presumably bandwagoners that can't comprehend why the Steelers are not competing for a SB and are throwing tantrums daily.

Looks like we got lucky with Gus Edwards. News is out that his hamstring injury is minor per Rappaport. It's possible he misses the upcoming game but won't be more than that.

Because of arod trash wrs, Josh and mahommes are so far ahead of everyone right now its crazy.. kinda like when it was just luke ane bobby wagner at the MLB position
Regardless of who he plays with Allen’s skill set is a cut above everyone right now, including Pat.

I am not too sure about that. He had a few good throws last night and finished with 2 ints in the second half. Completed 13 of his passes 52% completion.

He did run the ball well last night though.

Pat is Pat to me.

And then everyone else

Pat is more of an improviser, but he has no where near the physical attributes Allen has. Dude is large and in charge along with great arm strength and mobility. Given the choice I’m taking Allen without hesitation.

I doubt he’d be killed scrambling . More times than not he is delivering hits while scrambling
How long? He isn't shifty enough to keep scrambling. He'll end up like Cam Newton very soon. In fact, he is Cam Newton with a slightly better arm and great weapons like Stefon Diggs (in my opinion, one of the very best WRs in the NFL). People may not like hearing this, but this is my opinion.

There are maybe, MAYBE 3 receivers better than Diggs depending on how you feel about these guys....

Jefferson
Nuke
Adams

Diggs is an absolute monster who plays with a ton of emotion

At any given moment he is #1 in this league

While we're on the topic of QBs....

Before walking to the stadium, my Bucs friend and I went to some wing place for dinner. We talked about Brady and the fact that he said that retirement isn't in the near future (something to that effect). He's actually convinced that this is Brady's last season as a Buc. Isn't this his last year on his contract? If so, I could see why folks were saying Brady to the Niners.

So a few things I'd say:
1. Tom Brady, in totality, is better than Jimmy G. Tom Brady, at this stage in his career, is NOT a massive upgrade over Jimmy G.
Some people in the media are doing an OK job of holding Brady accountable, but like, people keep coming up with excuses for him. Like in the Ravens game, he just wasn't good. He missed a LOT of open throws. Routine throws he's been making for many years. Sure, his Oline isn't a fortress around him anymore, but like he's not playing well either. And he's got real NFL WRs to throw to... much better than what he had in NE in the later stages.
2. Brady basically only signs one year deals at this point. And they're not super cheap either. Made nearly $40M last year, and is making $30M this year. Most teams won't take on cap hits that big for him at this point, so they need to get creative. Bucs have like a $35M dead money cap charge next year for him, regardless of whether he plays for them or doesn't.

Slightly better? his arm is by far better than newtons lol. Diggs doesnt make him throw accurate passes.. no wr in history can make you throw accurate passes. I doubt anyone would trade our weapons on offense for bills tbh.You give josh allen our weapons and id be willing to bet he would still put up same numbers or probably even better. We gotta stop bringing up “ weapons” to tear down other qbs just because our qb isnt better. Without the “ weapons” you clearly see the talent.

Cam Newton wasn’t one tenth the thrower Josh Allen is. Cam Newton at his absolute best was comparable to Joe flacco from the pocket, as far as athleticism Newton and Allen are about on par with eachother

I would certainly say its his last season playing for the Buccs. At this point I see no reason for him to retire though after the season. He still looks as good as he has for the past 5 years with all the same weaknesses so I assume there would be no shortage of teams that are just a QB away looking for him.

Only way i can see him playing is to keep his mind off that divorce

lol Cam Newton? Come on man, not even close. Sure they both are built like a tank, but arm talent wise? They aren't in the same universe.

I don't think Allen running over tiny CBs has much to do with his abilities to last in the league. Just like Lamar, he is much more likely to be injured in the pocket with everyone falling at your knees and ankles.
