The Random Thought Thread

Reading that there is mutal interest between Greg Roman and Stanford, and that both sides had conservations that were encouraging according to this article. That Roman sees this as an opportunity to rebuild Stanford back into it's winning ways under Jim Harbaugh and David Shaw. Hurry up Stanford, make your decision already.

I give the odds ,with Lamar out 1-3 weeks, about 50-50 to make the playoffs.

If we beat the Steelers at Pittsburgh , it will be a complete and thorough miracle. You play the Steelers and the Refs
at Heinz Field.
Idk who we play our next 4 games but only way we win a game is if our defense allow less than 14 points every game

Yea I’m pretty sure Roman is taking that Stanford job, but don’t be replacing him with no bum now

The question is, "Can the Ravens' offense score 14 points themselves?"

We play the Browns, Falcons, Steelers, and Bengals. I can honestly see us easily dropping 2 or 3 of those cause the Ravens are on their AFC North gauntlet (i.e. Steelers on Sunday, Browns on Saturday, then 2 weeks later the Steelers at home, and then the Bengals on the road). And, we all know that the AFC North is going to attempt to play the "spoilers" and battle the Ravens hard. That's a given!

I agree, but Frank Reich is available and he isn't a bum. That being said, if and only if Roman were to leave for the Stanford job right away, someone on the staff would take over and I'd be all for Urban taking over.

I agree with you. Or in a surprise move, the WRs coach may become the OC just given the Rooney rule, etc. However, didn't Urban give up the Eagles OC job?

I have no faith in huntley to score over 20..i think he can get us 14-17
I think it’s less about the the QB and more about the weapons around him. Huntley lead team scored 22, 31, 21, 19, and 16 last year. So he can definitely move the offense and score some points. But If Lamar can’t consistently score with these shitty weapons, then theirs no way Tyler will. Just gotta embrace a defensive slugfest

Lots of negative vibes with this team. Something to lift your spirits

GRo tends to simplify the offense for Huntley and put in more spread, which he should also do for Lamar. We very well could score 20 and win this game.
