I hate when players like Oweh, Ojabo, Clowney are referred to as Outside Linebackers based on some folk memory of the traditional 3-4.
Whether they're standing up or in a 3 pt stance, they don't back up the line or play behind it - there's nothing linebacker about them. ( Not even Bowser, who plays coverage quite often and is actually good at it. The value of his coverage is still the surprise/disguise. No one's surprised to see an actual linebacker play coverage.)
It's just an outdated, wordy and inaccurate term.
