I wouldn't say Maclin had mad success elswhere. He had two 1k yard seasons. One for Philly and one for KC.

Now, Housh... had 6 straight 900 yard plus seeasons, with two of those being over 1k yards. Definitely helped having Green opposite you.

first 3 on the field in all 3 preseason games were Jones, Urban and Blackson with Nichols coming in rotationally

They did do better but both were on small 1 year contracts towrds the end of their career. Last year for Maclin and second to last for Housh, who did worse in Oakland the next season.

Now that was a long time ago with Maclin being back in 2017....can't believe it was that long ago, actually. We have a new horizon with two good youngsers in Zay and Bateman AND a new offence. Lets just hope they can stay on the field.

While I hope he does, I'll be very surprised if Lamar ever gets 4k passing.

It won't be easy, but it'll depend on what the offense looks like.
He'll need to average somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 pass attempts/game in order to make that happen, and that's over a full 17 games.
