The Random Thought Thread

@JAAM thought of you when I came across the best bromance on the team

Kinda sad to read

Lol another winner from the 2013 draft. Let’s bring him back baby. Might as well see what Matt Elam is up to as well

Yo. I have a couple questions for you Baltimore/DC natives. I’m planning to fly from Cali to Washington DC and catch the Ravens/Dolphins game on New Years Eve while I’m in the area.

Is the train/metro an option during game days? To and from DC?

Also, cheapest tickets are $66 right now. But it’s only in the “presale” phase. Are ticket prices going to decrease when the presale phase ends? Or do ticket prices generally stay around this price?

Baltimore and dc public transpo isn’t linked. They’re separated by about 45 minutes on 295. Just wondering, why not fly into bwi? Unless you’re purposely staying in dc

Full disclosure I haven’t lived in the DMV(DC,MD,VA) area since 2017, but the only train from DC to Baltimore is the Amtrak that you catch at Union Station. Not very efficient for game days IMO, but it’s usually $5- $20 one way. DC metro system is awesome, Baltimore has a light rail that leaves a lot to be desired and is usually an ass pain on game days. If I were you I’d fly into BWI, Uber to the city , and enjoy Baltimore. If DC is a must, fly into Dulles and a rent a car. You can definitely enjoy DC using only the metro but Baltimore light rail sucks, but I may just be a little boujee

Amtrak connects from DC to Penn station in Baltimore, you can grab a light rail from there to the game. Pain in the ass but still and option if people don’t want to drive

He sooo soft
Sadly I was really hype about him on draft night thinking we had a steal. Now my guy is off playing spring football or arena

Going with some family who want to stay and explore DC area. Just my wife and I plan to go to the game.

Uber would probably be stupid expensive during game day?

What about ticket prices?

Sounds like more than I want to deal with tbh. Assuming Uber would be a pain for the game as well? And expensive?

Looking like renting a car would probably be easiest?

What my fiancée and I did last year was take the Greyhound from DC to Baltimore for the game. Only issue is I believe it closes down before the game is over so you would have to stay in Baltimore for the night. Otherwise rental car might make more sense.

If it’s in your budget I would go rental car. If you have free time, I recommend visiting Annapolis. Roughly 25 minutes from DC and Baltimore. Really cool town on water, much more laid back and cleaner than DC and Baltimore.

The black nail polish thing creeps me out. lol
Yeeeea I want to judge cuz that’s shits weird, buuuuuut half my body is covered in tattoos so that’s weird to other people as well.
