The Random Thought Thread

What my fiancée and I did last year was take the Greyhound from DC to Baltimore for the game. Only issue is I believe it closes down before the game is over so you would have to stay in Baltimore for the night. Otherwise rental car might make more sense.

I didn’t consider that. I’ll have to look into it. Another complication I’m considering is the fact that the game is on New Year’s Eve.

If it’s in your budget I would go rental car. If you have free time, I recommend visiting Annapolis. Roughly 25 minutes from DC and Baltimore. Really cool town on water, much more laid back and cleaner than DC and Baltimore.

Rental car makes the most sense considering everything, just means I can’t tailgate and drink like I want to haha

And thanks for the recommendation, I’ll mention it to my wife and look into it. What do you enjoy about it?

Random question in the random thread. How do you guys feel about this logo?
I personally think it's ugly and I see they are using it a lot now on the merch. I wish they would change this one make it look better.

Baltimore and dc public transpo isn’t linked. They’re separated by about 45 minutes on 295. Just wondering, why not fly into bwi? Unless you’re purposely staying in dc
exactly and I have the same question. I'd take SW into BWI, unless want to stay in DC. Now you can catch the Marc train from Union station in DC and get to the game that way. Not sure of the times though.

Yeah, DC is the actual destination of our trip. I just want to go to a home game since I’m in the area.

Hmm I’m going to look into the Marc train option. Thank you

Plan is to stay in DC. I appreciate you sharing the link. I’m currently looking into it and there’s a potential that the train won’t be running since the game is on New Year’s Eve and the schedule for those days is TBD.
got it. You could consider renting a car for the day or uber. Costly, yes, but if you want to go to a game.....
