As good as Baltimore is, hard to take them seriously as a Super Bowl contender with the blown leads late.

This article sounds like a crybaby Ravens fan over reacting.

We've shown we can score ( a lot) on good teams and we can shut down good offenses. We have a huge point differential and have only trailed for 30 mins all season. Of course we're Super Bowl contenders.

The comebacks we've allowed are worrying but don't tell us much about the future.

I don't think officiating is worse. I'd argue it's better. I think points of emphasis on certain "player safety" positions are driven by the NFL being tired of being sued by ignorant former players, and I think the NFL for some reason is terrified of using technology to their benefit.

I think people also forgot what officiating looked like when NFL refs went on strike. It was a disaster that's exponentially worse than anything we've seen in recent years.

I felt like we only dominated the first quarter. It felt like the Browns were in the game from the 2nd quarter on and we just couldn't put them away

I believe that once the Ravens take care of their own business by beating a division foe in the Bengals on Thursday Night; then they will be on a "mini-bye" (they are off for 9 days) prior to heading out West to face the Chargers. They should be nicely rested and ready to make their late Nov/Dec run toward the playoffs. Although they definitely pissed me off yesterday by losing to the freakin "CLOWNS" I still believe that they are playoff bound. Once they are there: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! We just got to make it to the dance!

While winning the division would be super nice, I just care about making the playoffs. Here are the following games: vs. Bengals, at Chargers, BYE, vs. Rams, at Jaguars, at 49ers, vs. Dolphins, vs. Steelers.

By the time we play the Niners, we HAVE to be at 10 wins, otherwise we're screwed.

Why? The only games over that stretch that we should be worried about are bengals and 9ers. Chargers D is absolutely atrocious, Rams will likely be starting Carson Wentz when we play them. The Jags are as inconsistent as the Ravens but their D and O are both worse than ours and the phins can't beat a team with a winning record. We win those 4 games and we are sitting at 11 wins going into the last week of the season which definitely gets us a wild card spot

This is what a few of us have been saying lol, this shit happens to good teams basically every week, even super bowl winners lay numerous eggs throughout the season. Sometimes key players have an off day, or even just a few key snaps where they’re slightly off.

So much shit in this game could’ve been the final nail but they all slipped through our grasp. The oweh fumble, the hill td called back, Lamar refusing to run the ball late in the game, so many plays we just didn’t do it perfect and it bit us, we make those plays more often than not.
 
Certainly no need for panic. That game could have very easily been a blowout win for us, had a couple of the many miscues gone our way.

We still control our own destiny, and we’ll see how our boys respond to the loss on Thursday. It’s a big game against a wounded bengals team who cannot afford to lose 2 in a row. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little worried. If we lose the stillers take over first place in the AFCN and the thought of that makes me ill.

What's so frustrating though are the untimely turnovers that have been a reoccurring theme in our losses.

Are the Bills a good team this year? Get your point, but they don’t feel comparable to Ravens. They’ve been sloppy all year and should have an additional loss Vs the Giants
 
The amount of blown leads is becoming a problem. The fact that once again the Ravens have lead in every single game in the 4th quarter this year but have 3 losses is eerily similar to last year. Saw the same number this morning where Lamar leads the NFL in 4th quarter turnovers over the past 2 years (think there was a carveout for close games but I was getting ready for work so I cant confirm) and the only one close to him was Heinicke so not exactly great company.

I do not know what it is but for a team with a top 5 QB I have never seen a less clutch team.
