Yeah put me in that camp. I was all about Davis but man I think this too harsh. When I've watched the Eagles to me he was doing a good job but he's no Kyle Hamilton.

that whole unit's been playing awfully - dont think you can question davis's work ethic or shit like that
call him out for being ineffective or not what he's supposed to have been but he's basically character assassinating him when the context of the tape doesnt show him as being lazy at all - it shows a defence where the front and the coverage are not aligned at all
maybe, but pass blocking he's up there with the best of them. Not as good as a run blocker, so I get it that he didn't get in, but he's been snubbed for his entire career....even when he has deserved it.
ridiculous that he's not had 1 pro bowl his entire career
but idk that this year is the one to quibble with
maybe not. I'd love to see him back next year. He's such a good pass blocker.

He's always been more very solid than great. Guard is also a position that a handful of players just seem to get grandfathered in their whole careers (watch Linderbaum get 10 straight). He's also been on a lot of bad teams.
