Tua is not good at playing quarterback
He is really good at being a concussion magnet. At some point someone has to save this idiot from himself and keep him off the field

Lamar does a pretty good job of running out of bounds, but from time to time he does tend to dive forward. I really hope he learns to slide (which he can) to avoid shit like what happened to Tua.

We are still the only team who was bullied by the refs over a tackle lined up in the backfield. All the other tackles are fine in the backfield.

In case anyone wanted to see actual confirmation and not just rely on feelings, here is a chart that shows Taylor's hot spot is generally as deep or deeper than where Stanley was getting flagged, yet he wasn't flagged.

The officiating was VERY unbalanced.

Lamar has a very unique way of doing this, his dives forward are often avoiding contact, or causing a graze where defenders are going for big hits. I still hold my breath every damn time, but he’s so elusive when he decides the plays over and he’s gotta go down.

Yeah man, I am not one to whinge about the refs but this one was clear. Anyway not the reason we lost.

I'll go against this and say it was a massive factor.

Penalties can be difficult to overcome from the pure perspective of it changing play calling and putting you behind the chains. Your 1&10 play call looks different than 1&20. Having to fight against negative yardage, especially after a positive play, is tough.

On the flip side, Taylor's alignment is a huge advantage. It allows him to get into his pass set before engaging a rusher. That's so valuable for a pass blocker. It's one of those things you can't exactly measure in the box score, but it had a non zero amount of impact on passing plays.

Plus, plenty of missed holdings, illegal formations, and OPIs that would have negated positive plays and put the Chiefs in unfair down and distance.

I'm generally of the mindset that a singular bad call isn't the make or break for a game and that there are opportunities to overcome, but this was a heaping of bad officiating AND an unfair advantage in passing sets for the Chiefs.

Yep, don't disagree except they were 5 yard penalties and there was a hold on Ro that was so bad it got me yelling. The Superbowl favourites and home team are always gonna get those calls and we were a bit of play calling and execution from a win. Tucker makes that kick, Lamar passes to open Flowers. Anyway that game gave me more hope than it took away.

Go Ravens!

Tua is sometimes the worst QB I’ve ever seen. I’m sad he got hurt and he has to start considering some things but he’s just not it. Dolphins paid him

Great stuff. Mendenhall describing the moment he trashed talked Ray and then Ray broke his shoulder lol

If he is medically cleared to play, but chooses to retire, he'd forfeit the guarantees for injury, so the Dolphins could potentially recoup a large chunk of money.

We talked shit but monken actually called a really good game. Our oline really fucked us up!
My guy he called an awful game. Probably because he felt extremely limited in what he could do given how poorly the OL played. I get calling a shit game when you have no ability to run the ball with Henry as your running back and Lamar is running for his life the entire time.

It wasn't really until the lat 2 or so drives that things opened up a bit but that's because KC started playing really soft. And apparently Spags said he regretted doing that because it gave us a real opportunity to come back. Which is true.

Someone in Tua's camp has to talk to him about the possibility of doing something else.
