We're absolutely on pace to give Henry more touches then he's ever had in his whole career. Would be nice if Hill could be a bit of an efficient runner to spell him

no we're not

his current pace would only be the 3rd highest of his career (and that's partly because of the 17th game)
on a per game rate, this is only the 5th highest of his career

only his first 3 seasons (before the Titans realised he was a workhorse) and last season have a lower attempts/game

and his snap counts are basically the same as last year

Justice Hill is spelling him effectively, as is Lamar

I'd like him to be fresh at the end of the year and in the playoffs, but as Rossi said this is only his 5th highest of his career.

2020 is his highest usage year. He was used less then he's going to be in weeks 1 and 2. Therefore barring injury and the 17th game, he will absolutely be at his very top or exceed it there's no doubt in my mind.

if he does then it means we're winning basically every game the rest of the way by multiple scores and that no one has been able to stop the run the rest of the way either...

for context, the number of snaps he's averaging this year are the 4th lowest in his career... not gonna get close to his peak in terms of usage

We'll see! Despite usage I bet he's in the upper end of production too. He's been so efficient

i mean even with the usage being very middle of the road for his career
he's on pace for 1995 yards rushing...

and he's also taking fewer hits than normal

he's got 460 yards before contact so far this year... he's only ever had more than 700 twice in an entire season...

Yeah it doesnt seem like Henry is being used nearly as much as he was in Tenn. Hes just been very efficient recently.
True. His best year with the Titans was easily 2020 when he gashed the league for over 2,000 yards and averaged 5.4 a carry. Right now, he's averaging about 20 carries a game and if he were to keep that pace and play in all 17 games, he'd have more carries than last year but not quite as much as 2022. If Mitchell can get back later in the year, I would think Henry's touches would decrease a bit in addition to Hill getting his share. But right now, the King is averaging 6.0 a carry, so he's been super-efficient as you said. When they signed him, I'll admit I was skeptical of whether he'd have that much left in the tank and coming off a subpar year for his standards. He's been a revelation and the 1-2 punch of him and Lamar is absolutely lethal.

Honestly what’s funny is I think his rushing yards will go up when teams realize that stacking the box gets them torn up by Lamar every time.

I didn't realize this until a couple of weeks ago, but apparently Kevin Hart's wife is a Ravens fan. I'm sure that household will be interesting when we play the Eagles later on this season.
