The Random Thought Thread

Watching some of these teams in the AFC, and I know our defense sucks real bad but the Texas are depleted at WR and even before the injuries haven't been that impressive to me. K.C, I don't know how they're 7-0. We crushed Buffalo and overall match up well against them....we still have a shot even with a bad defense.

We held Mahomes to 27, and came a toe tap away from a potential game winning 2 point conversion. We smothered the Bills offense, we smothered the Dallas and Tampa offense until the 4th in both games.

Lamar outdueled a good QB in Joe Burrow, a lot of our defensive stats are skewed due to us being ahead so much that teams are passing to play catch up. Our defense doesn't need to go from worst to 1st but going from worst to middle of the pack will get us a Super Bowl this year.

I mean the Chiefs season high points total is 28 so 27 is the second most points they have scored this season.

If we played the bills sunday, i promise the game would look totally different.. dallas scored 19 in 4th, bucs scored 30 total and benglas scored like 35.. i agree, we dnt have go from the worst to the first but how its looking, it could go from the worst to the worstEST in nfl history lol

Holding the Chiefs to 27 isn't that impressive given how awful their offense is. Mahomes is easily having his worst year and currently has more INTs then TDs. You can even argue that week one was their offenses best performance. I'll give you the Bills game, that was a phenomenal performance defensively but the Dallas and Tampa games showed huge breakdowns in the 4th QTR, most specifically with communication and coverage responsibilities. The pass defense has been awful and I don't believe the statistics are skewed at all, they've allowed 56 plays of 16+ more yards this season....it's week 9. This pass defense is seriously the worst in the NFL and by a decent amount.
