This shit is missing context. When they asked him to go in matters. What if they waited til the final drive of Q4, when its garbage time and game was already over? Shit, if I’ve been sitting all game, watching Nelson and Tylan played 3 qtrs of football and they finally ask me to go in when it’s over..
i woulda said “f y’all” too
When they told him to go in means nothing and doesn’t matter at all. These guys are paid employees, can’t just say f**k you. lol
I doubt it was as you describe, and I’m glad they are sending his triflin’ ass down the road. Don’t need poison like him around a team.

Never thought he was that good on the Steelers either, always dropped bombs from Ben. Fuck this guy. I know we want the comp pick but is it worth it at this point, will it disrupt further? As for potentially giving other afc teams a chance to sign him I say let them. Dude sucks

What’s the common denominator here?
I'm not sure. Harbs usually has a good lockeroom. Like that's not one of the normal complaints about him. Outside of Earl and Chuck Clark it's kinda hard to remember something else. Kinda have to go back to Bernard Pollard. But maybe I'm forgetting stuff.

I think maybe we're less of a tough guy team and more of a modern finesse kinda team with Lamar and the offense being the identity. And overall just bigger attention and brighter lights.

I really don't know

He will be out 3 games, including the Christmas Game against us.

Update: His suspension has been upheld after he appealed it. He then made a tweet comparing himself to the Joker. He just doesn't get it, he'll be out of the league in no time.

Bro thinks he’s him

More and more guys are treated like superstars at a young age and come in feeling like their shit doesn’t stink. Fewer guys that feel like they need to earn it, and their status guarantees their role.

I also don't understand why fans think this is a "bad locker room". We got one diva who came here mid-season, didn't get the ball, and is now suspended. What else is the issue? That we benched Williams and cut Jackson? Doesn't appear like that's anything but a positive on the locker room.

Its not a bad lockeroom. It's just one that compared to Harbs' whole tenure has had more "events".

Having a guy give up on being serious (Marcus) is not great for a lockeroom. Having guys complain about benchings (Marcus and Eddie) is not great either. Having a guy complain, be late to games, and hold out (Johnson) is not great either.

None of it is the end of the world and it doesn't reflect the whole lockeroon at all. But it's kinda dumb to think this is not any different than say just last year.

Right but I guess the Johnson thing is the only one I view as a negative. I view the Williams/Jackson stuff as fairly routine. Two guys that weren't getting it done, and they got benched or cut. Marlon publicly said it was a good thing. I wouldn't say its common for players to get benched mid-season when your team is good, but that's precisely what you want out of your coaching staff and your locker room. Accountability.

The Johnson thing is just a yawn to me. Another idiot WR who walked into a run-heavy offense and doesn't understand why he's not getting targets. And no, its not about snaps. If he was getting 30 snaps and not getting the ball, he'd still be pissed. That's what he does. From the second we signed him, at no point in time did I ever think "o wow this is the guy that puts us over the top". He's depth that, to this point, we haven't needed. Nothing more.

People will say "well he should be playing over Agholor". And prior, he should have. Agholor doesn't get the ball. He gets two throws a week. Johnson is throwing a tantrum on the sideline every week if he gets two throws a week.

Kyle Hamilton said on Humphrey’s podcast that they didn’t face any adversity last year but have this year, they still feel they can win a Super Bowl. That’s enough for me, I concur, some of the guys on RSR are using this Johnson thing as an indictment on Harbaugh and the team and it’s a joke. Honestly I don’t want him on the team, I just figured out he was the WR who stopped playing during a live fumble right next to him against the bengals. If anything it’s on edc

EDC is in the clear also, he took 2 fliers for virtually nothing and 1 of them panned out and helped solidify our biggest weakness. Just cut this bum and be done with it.

I think it's tough for this team to cut him especially when they know that his skillset can helped them when it comes to facing teams that have defenses that can allow their corners to cover in man coverage and pressure the quarterback with their four man front successfully. Johnson has the ability to beat man coverage and I believe was the main reason why the team traded for him especially after seeing how things went against the browns

I think he’d be cut if this was week 3 or somewhere early in the season. At this stage, they know what other teams could potentially need him and they don’t want him finding his way to a competitor. I genuinely don’t believe they have any expectation of him contributing here at this stage.

I know he played a good chunk of snaps last week, but i’d rather have Tylan Wallace as the #3 guy. Lets just see what he’s capable of in that role.
