Hell yea, passion fruit tooCitrusy kinda fruit smell is good though
I know lots of yall will be like wtf but I'm pretty sure there are zero very good teams in the league this year. All of these teams have significant faults and you can't even say a specific team should win on paper. No one is even close to trustworthy enough. For me at least.
I don't think it's a wtf take at all. Quite the opposite. It's a take that I've been hearing almost all season long. Heck, I think I remember hearing it last season too.I know lots of yall will be like wtf but I'm pretty sure there are zero very good teams in the league this year. All of these teams have significant faults and you can't even say a specific team should win on paper. No one is even close to trustworthy enough. For me at least.
They did Nick Nash dirty not giving him the Biletnikoff.
1st in receptions
• 1st in receptions per game
• 1st in receiving yards
• 1st in receiving yards per game
• 1st in receiving touchdown
I’m officially campaigning for him to be a Raven. We need a random white WR. BB would approve
For sure. Maybe not this year or last, but in years past KC has had some unbelievable teams. NE too. The point is over the last decade and a half to say 3 year or so years ago, there were people you could easily crown on paper. Sometimes they were upset, but that's football.im not being funny but...
by that metric, are there ever almost ever any very good teams in the league?

Who am I supposed to crown this year? KC looks awful. Buffalo is respectable but I'm certainly not saying i think they'll win the SB. Steelers are trash. We're idek. Texans blow. Chargers blow.
In the NFC, the Eagles should've lost to the Bryce Young Panthers last week. The Lions should've lost to the Bears on Thanksgiving. Sam Darnold isn't winning the SB.
It just feels like everyone is either slightly above average or slightly below average. No one is clearly a step above everyone else and a clear favorite.
All of that is true. I just wrote something quick from stuff i could recall totally top of mind. Slip ups happen. Literally no SB winner has gone undefeated in the 16 or 17 game format lol.great teams lose to bad teams in the NFL all the time... hard to argue the Lions aren't a great team this year
if having a slip-up in a division game makes a team not a great one then there's probably no great teams ever
the 2022 chiefs lost to the colts... that didn't make them a bad team
the 2023 ravens who lost in the AFC championship game, lost to the colts, lost to the deshaun watson browns and got swept by a bad steelers team - yet they were undeniably a great team
not sure how the Lions aren't considered a great team this year after only nearly losing to the bears
not only do good teams slip up against poor teams, they also don't always bludgeon those teams when they win
and if the answer is no slip ups allowed then the only great teams ever have been the 1972 dolphins and the 2007 patriots... which is obviously not true
Negative ghost rider. They played one FCS team and he had 170 of his 1400 yards come against them… he also dropped 152, 161, and 126 vs Wash St, Oregon State, and Boise. Dude can playmost of the stats came against the FCS...
counting stats in college are even more overrated than counting stats in the NFL because they have even less context attached to them
I support this. But don’t come at me with vegemite , that stuff is nastyCome to Australia you cunts

There's just no team that I've watched that looks scary at all. No team that I think has a significantly higher chance of winning the SB than anyone else. That's my point, instead of like 2-4 teams seemingly being way above the others, I think nearly anyone could win the SB this year.
Nah. I don't have a problem with Goff. He's been to a SB and only lost to Brady. He's never been a bad player and a times quite a good one. He's not Lamar but he's a top 10 guy in 2024 for surethe only reason you're saying that is because you don't believe in jared goff
He and Dionte Johnson should become best friends or something.
How dare you! Love that shitI support this. But don’t come at me with vegemite , that stuff is nasty
Need the offense to figure out how to play against dominant defensive lines in the Lamar era. Games against the Steelers and Chiefs have not gone well, typically watching the offense struggle to convert even though in other games they are averaging 30+ PPG. The Ravens won't win if they need both tight ends to block/chip and there are 2-3 receivers going into 6-7 defenders. The reason I still believe we'll be in New Orleans winning our 3rd Super Bowl is because I think our defense is going to turn it on come the playoffs.
I think a lot of our defensive stats this year regardless of terrible play was due to us having big leads. It led to teams needing to pass to get back into the game. Sure, we've gotten better since benching Marcus Williams and cutting Eddie Jackson but again, the stats don't tell the whole story.
As they say... get into the postseason and see what happens. 2000, Titans won the division and we were a wild card that won the Super Bowl. 2012, we struggled in December like we are now but playoff time, we had everything go our way. It can happen, and will happen again this year.
