The Random Thought Thread

Bud Dupree had one good year, one okay year and has been bad the rest of his career. Note that he is in year 10. And yes I’m going to say a player playing great this year is a good player. It’s a shocking notion but I’m also not going to say Darnold is bad anymore because I’m watching him be good.
Bud Dupree is still bad, very bad.

Since you seem more than a little illiterate yourself I will repeat the response you missed albeit slowly.

When I typed his name I accidentally clicked my previous search from last night instead of his (relatedly Bland somehow didn’t have 10 INTs the season he set the return record and that cost me a game). Reading his stat page I don’t see anything that I could call a 10. Maybe moving the 1.0 over but that is a stretch.

I could have given a more in depth reason as to why he has played way better this season but aside from not wanting to get into the specifics of being a great run defender, the bloody Ravens game was on and I’m not giving you more time than a commercial break. The short answer seemed both obvious and sufficient.

Now that the Ravens aren’t playing I can give you a longer answer if you prefer. However the overarching point was that the Steelers, despite drafting mid to late first almost every year are getting above average returns for that draft capital. That seems easy to prove, especially if you are calling Bud Dupree good, for some reason.
no one is calling Bud Dupree good and Bush being good now with Cleveland means nothing, since he's no longer with the Steelers.

Does anyone know through 16 weeks who has these numbers. These are passing numbers only....

comp % 63.8 (22nd)
Pass YPG 236.6 (14th)
TD-Int 26-6
Pass Rtg 101.2

Yeah, you got it. It's Josh Allen and no way is that MVP caliber when you only take into account the passer numbers......atleast when you take into account Lamar Jacksons numbers.

Wild lol! He not even #1 seed neither. Tbh i actually want josh allen to win mvp. Probably wont but it may motivate lamar to beat him during our playoff game

That's not fair to include passer ratings. Everyone knows Allen is a running back.

Tough question here. How short is Tucker's leash in playoff games? I know we've acted like nothing has happened thus far to help give him a chance to get back on track, and that's had mixed results.

Let's say he misses a FG from 45 in Q1 of the first playoff game. How quickly do you start putting and going for it on 4th because you can't risk another miss?

I think it'd take 2 misses. I'm far from saying he's back to himself, but the last few kicks have looked reminiscent of the Tucker we know - end over end and straight down the middle.

If he hooks one to the left again, maybe it's only 1 kick.

Truth was saying that he has noticed that we haven't waited until the final seconds to kick anymore and we are kicking with much more time on the clock.

The NFL on Netflix reached 65 Million Viewers in the United States, an average of 24 Million watching per game. Yeah... we are getting more NFL games on Netflix next year aren't we?

And Lebron was saying Christmas day belongs to the NBA. Although, their game was the most watched in 5 yrs they only reached about 7.5 million views compared to 24 million each for both nfl matches.

I love the NFL," James said. "But Christmas is our day."

NFL football is americas game, it used to be baseball, but for about 40 years it’s been football, and the only things that could change that are Vegas and Refs, and they haven’t succeeded at it yet

Netflix and the NFL have a three year agreement for Christmas games I believe
