Andy Reid confirms Carson Wentz will start on Sunday against the Broncos. Other backups will also play so KC essentially resting their starters who won't play a game until the Divisional Round.

Not saying Denver is a lock to win as shown last week they are still a young team not ready to win the big games. Just crazy how the Chiefs are essentially deciding who gets into the playoffs and who doesn't.

Every sane team would sit starters if there is nothing to gain and everything to lose with injuries in the last game.

Pro Bowlers have been announced... Lamar, Derrick Henry, Pat Ricard, Humphrey, Roquan, Linderbaum, Hamilton and Madubuike. Zay Flowers got his first Pro Bowl selection and is the first Ravens WR to do so.

If we don't make it to the SB, I've never wanted some Guards to drop out so bad. Faalele making the Pro Bowl would be the only solace to not winning a Super Bowl.

I've been wondering this for a few weeks now, but I only think we are going to replace left guard. Mekari although being a good pass blocker has been the week link on the line and is a free agent. I'd like to see him extended, but as a swing tackle. I just think he would prefer being a starter with another team, if he can get signed in fa.

Couple items (one critical) to point out:
1. Stanley making a PB is a HUGE deal for him, as he's scheduled to earn back most of the $ we took as an incentive-pay cut this offseason.
A Pro Bowl selection + 95% of snaps played (he's currently at 98%) earns him $8M in incentives. That $8M will be added to the 2025 salary cap, which mean his current dead $ in 2025 balloons to north of $16.1M. The $8M is fixed for 2025, so the only way to lower that cap hit is via an extension. But even with an extension, he'll cost north of $10M, and probably closer to $15M, in cap space, in 2025, at a minimum.

2. Second PB selections for both Linderbaum and Hamilton push their 2026 5th year option values to the 2025 franchise tag level, meaning they'll both only be cheap for one more year. It'll be roughly $20M for Hamilton and $25M for Linderbaum.

Both are extension eligible after this season and likely to be top priorities for EDC. Hamilton @ $20M probably is probably close to market value, but Linderbaum @ $25M is a good bit above the top of the Center market currently, so he may be the higher priority.

Sounds like we’re safe on Stanley. He would have had to be voted on the original ballot for the incentive per Brian McFarland. All Pro is still a consideration of course but seems unlikely.
