The Random Thought Thread

I can't complain too much since he won it last year when a couple QBs had better stats.

The only people I thought had a case last year were cmc and Allen. But last year it was performances against top teams and we had #1 seed. There also wasn't competition for the award. I'm not too mad about Lamar not winning if he isn't, but we all know what it was this year. This year and last year aren't comparable.

I also find it hilarious now the cast matters, but it is what it is. I just hope this version of the team can get it done.

Jesus Christ can Travis Kelce just go the fuck away

Too many monster games in prime time and the Ravens absolutely decimating them with Lamar playing extremely well to ignore.

In bigger games those guys with the better stats played horribly.

What the Ravens and Lamar have done over the last 2 years against winning teams is special

I can complain because last year wasn't a historic level season from any QB.

Lamar was, easily, a top 10 QB season ever this season and I think you could push that a lot higher. The ones I can think of that'll be more fondly remembered in history will be '04 Manning, '07 Brady, '84 Marino, and '13 Manning. There may be more seasons that people would put against it, but when I think of historic seasons, those are the first that come to mind and Lamar's 2024 is now that for me.

If Lamar had lost last year, yeah, I'd be upset, but it'd have been more reasonable than losing this year and it's not particularly close.

Whats crazier is that if he wanted to, he couldve rushed for 1k lol

Gents! We're adding the finishing touches on the groundwork. We are staring the team selection draft at 4 PM this Saturday. We're just a few short days behind last year, so it shouldn't kill our pacing. Get ready for the new season!

I was curious if we were going to have enough people this year. Given what the QB landscape is going to look like in real life, I'm curious how close will it be to what our teams end up with.

Fair concern. We'll have multiple people handling at least 2 teams. Possibly 3, so it should be similar to last year. And if anyone wants to get in on the action and join, even if just for the draft, we can always give them one of that abundance.
