The Random Thought Thread

There's no doubt we have our best offence in our history. We get our act together as a team and win the whole bloody thing

I personally think Hurts is being held back by coaching but will laugh at the people putting him up as a top 5 QB
Has benefited from a top 3 OL, top 5 or better wr corps and opportunistic/good defenses most of his career. Every year Eagles fans complain about the passing concepts. His pass blocking has been fine and he chooses to leave clean pockets. When they've tried relying on the passing game he was turning the ball over at a high clip. He's a average and the product of Howie selling out to try and build a qb proof roster.

Does he really suck though? Dude has been getting smashed all season, playing through pain.
I’ve never been a fan of him, FWIW. He is one of the more disappointing middling QBs. No he doesn’t suck but he’s average. Roman certainly doesn’t make it easier. And yes, he has no OL.

Hurts is the definition of an elite game manager. He fits their team very well. They maximize what he can do but don’t go beyond that.

With Kittle going down last night, he's another name to add to a way too long list of guys that tore their Achilles shortly after returning from another lower leg injury. Felt very commonplace this season. Wonder if teams will be more cautious with those guys going forward.

this is why we have been very good at bringing players back slowly ever since all our running backs tore their ACL / Achilles back in 2021.

Really nobody left that I even have a side rooting interest in. I guess Chicago but they have a hard NFCCG ceiling. Texans' pass rush is fun to watch, Mike Macdonald would be more painful than fun.

One of those years you're just praying it's anybody but the Patriots.
