I do love how much things can change year to year in the NFL, you can get some strong teams for sure but you look at MLB and half the teams have no shot at winning these days. Every NFL team just about is only a year or 2 away at worst

I used to love baseball, maybe ever more than football. But watching the Orioles be terrible for all of those years just for them to get some good young players in the era of buying World Series wins has almost turned me off the game completely. No excitement feeling forced to root for a Cinderella to knock off the big bad wolves you just know are going to be in contention. Dynasties are one thing if they’re built, not bought.

When zach Britton got traded to the Yankees it ended me

Yeah there is just way too much spread between teams and I expect baseball to go to a lockout next year. I think people for sure want a salary cap and floor but more revenue sharing is key too.

Also does anyone know why Jason LaCanfora hates Steve BIsciotti so much? I was listening to his show on 1057 (very rare for me to do it) and he is the first and only person I’ve heard have any negative opinions or anything negative to say after Steve’s press conference.

Because if he doesn’t have an axe to grind then he struggles REALLY hard to come up with any kind of content, so he makes up problems to rant about to stay relevant as long as he possibly can

does that surprise you. He hates everything about the Ravens.

I seriously can't understand why he has a job at all.

is it because maybe steve took away his castle credentials (or he feels like he did?)

probably feels like he did, but ... shouldn't have credentials to anywhere.
I have no idea. I don't listen to the radio at all (very rare) but only heard him this week and he was ranting about how Steve is a coward for not addressing the Tucker comment and shitting on his BFF Coleman. I really didn't understand if I was missing some serious context because he also hates Eric and Sashi. I also heard the radio once recently before Harbaugh was fired (only 2 times I've heard it in ages) and he was ranting about how bad Harbaugh was and criticized Steve for being out of touch with the team or some crap.

Now Harbaugh was apparently a saint or some shit and got out of this awful team. He seems like he despises this team.

he absolutely despises this team.

back in the day when he covered the Redskins, Snyder gave him a recommendation to the NFL Network just to get him out of his hair. (he worked for them from 2009-12) I heard that directly from the PR guy who worked for the team during the Cerrato years. I had some pretty darn good sources back then. I think the fans knew who they were going to sign more than Cerrato himself did. Idiot. Another guy I don't understand how he has a job.

It's a crying shame too because the new rules have done wonders for the watchability and the players coming up through these academies are absolute studs. The quality of the play is incredible but the league structure is killing it. They literally have the worst of both worlds, no hard cap to create balance and no regulation system like the soccer leagues to separate the rich and poor. Maybe now that the Dodgers have made the media darlings Yankees/Sox irrelevant they'll finally do something but it's getting really late. Some surveys already have MLB as the 4th fave sport in the US.

I stopped loving baseball because they would not let the guys have fun a while ago.

Listen, it's better than feeling like the Astros cheated you out of a World Series appearance. I am not going to tell you which team I am a fan of but I will tell you is that Judge is the player for that team

Josh allen really might be going to the SB! If he plays anyone other than seahawks, i think he gonna win. Lets go broncos
I got Denver winning, and Houston pulling off the upset against New England thanks to their defense. NFC, I have Rams and Seahawks.

he's hands down the best QB left and the only teams we have traditionally thought would get in his way are no longer there.
