no they were aware of his suspension i thought but the news he was going to be suspended was public before they would have/could have appealed i thought - could be wrong
I don't know. I thought I read that they dropped appeal because of the injury and the PED announcement only came out after the injury.
 
No, fanatics can't handle the facts that their hero's juice. Yet it's been going on since the 70's. Raiders and Steelers were the first teams to megadose. Today's athletes are even bigger and stronger So what does that tell you. Some people seemingly would prefer to jump off the bay bridge b4 knowing their hero's r bending rules
Im not against you my man! cant get mad cause youre sticking with your opinion. the way he is playing i can see why you think so, but at the same time suggs known for getting into the best shape he possibly can! If he is on juice i wouldnt be surprised honestly. he got like 10 sacks right now. I can see him ending with like 12 or 13

Suggs coming into camp in great shape is completely the opposite of what he has done most of his career. He's usually been fat and dumpy.

nope - today's athletes are bigger and stronger because every generation is bigger and stronger than the last and have better athletic training than before too - you really telling me the whole league is on steroids?

lol beer bellied couch potatos will never get it. Generations don't grow that fast lol. Somebody that never set foot in a gym doesn't get how and y the body adds muscle naturally. Go to a gym hire a trainer eat protein and see how long it takes to add 40 lbs of muscle!! If u put on 5 lbs in a year you are doing something!! Today's athletes, a 265lb edge rusher is running faster than many WRs of the 60s. Today's 205 lb cornerbacks are moving more weight in the gym than the previous lineman. Some of today's WRs are as big as many defensive ends of the 60s 70s and even 80s. Yet running faster than most WRs of the 60s and 70s. You are accounting this to better training?? How many cornerbacks were jimmys size of the 70s?? When the announcement comes some of you are gonna feel pretty dumb after running your mouths like this calling everybody that said it a liar and fabricating up stuff.lol

pretty sure me and all my friends are bigger/taller/faster generally than our parents - pretty sure that's without touching protein/juicing...

and given the advent of new training techniques and ideas about strength and conditioning that didnt exist 50 years ago, naturally guys are gonna be extra strong/fast

Not all. Are u telling every generation gets that much bigger and stronger?? What strength and conditioning techniques are NFL players using now that wasn't available 40 yrs ago?? Except for Adam Archuletta's training style. And even the new techniques players are using doesn't account for that kinda jump raw athleticism. Like I said go to a gym I will appoint you one of the best trainers and nutritionists. And see how much you change after a couple yrs. you will not be adding 20-30 lbs of muscle much less 50 lbs of new muscle. Even with PED's 50 lbs of extra muscle is an amazing extraordinary jump. I'm curious, What percentage of players do you think are taking PED's??

If you're just starting and you only add 5 pounds of muscle in a year, you are absolutely not doing something right.

But necessary to compete with younger faster receivers. Not many athletes are gonna wanna be slower and weaker to put less pressure on the joints.
 
There's no arguing with ignorance @rossihunter2. He doesn't understand that people are bigger and taller now than previous generations, that nutrition and exercise are 40 years ahead of 40 years ago, and that way back in the earlier days of football, this was a part time job, so having someone big and strong wasn't exactly normal.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying and no, everyone isn’t juicing. That being said, here are players that attempt to take advantage of the system.

I believe juicing and supplements has contributed to many of the injuries around the league.

Your correct you are very ignorant about lifting and building muscle. I'm not talking 80 yrs ago I'm talking 40 yrs ago. The best trainers in the world say what I'm saying. You can't account that to generations and training. So you are very ignorant on the matter. You probably never lifted a dumbed ever.
