It just got me to thinking with giving up two first rounders and knowing how the Ravens love their first rounders. It also got me to wondering how we assume the Crosby contract and pay Linderbaum without Lamar getting a new contract. Then I read today, that the team can restructure Lamar's contract without him consenting, but the numbers next year would be even worse for the team. This is all going to get very interesting, I think.

I mean if we restructure then we can just address the contract then but yeah you don’t want to keep kicking the can

I’m gonna take a WAG here and say that the Lamar extension is already a done deal, just not announced yet, and won’t be until after the Mad Maxx deal is finalized.

It makes sense that they are working out the deal given how active he's been apparently. Knowing that the Ravens were going to do something before it was announced let's me know he was in on it.

Crosby's deal cannot be finalized before Lamar's extension/restructure. We don't have enough cap space to carry his current year. So my guess is, Lamar deal is announced on Monday, when they all made it to Bmore from Florida and the league office is working.

I don’t think the maxx deal can be finalized without the Lamar extension

Website is going through some design updates the team has been working on, not sure about the bot prevention thing but we can decide later. I know I've seen it on a lot of websites recently but "worst case" think maybe we could get it to only be for accounts not logged in?
