haha
my blood alcohol level has still not recovered - i was away on a 3 day bender getting blackout drunk
but i have returned to the promised land

when i left the ravens had 6 picks to go
i have returned in seen they made 7 picks on day 3 alone
wth happened

it looks like the rest of the NFL was maybe on the bender with me - how the hell did we get so many good picks?
im pretty much ecstatic - i was underwhelmed with hayden hurst on thursday night as our only first rounder but from the moment the ravens traded into the 32nd pick the ravens dominated the draft - my only quibble is that i would have wanted one of the day 2 wrs but the 2 day 3 guys we got are good prospects

I may not know you, but knowing how active you are on the boards and not active at all after 11:50pm on Friday night, I was pretty worried.

If Kenny young doesn't work out, anyone think chuck clark could be a cover specialist ILB? 10 lbs more and he's got the size

Could let him or Levine start and they'd probably be fine. The whole point of having Williams is to force plays toward the sideline. Whoever plays next to Mosley shouldn't have to deal with runs directly at them. They'll either be in coverage or chasing down a run towards the sideline. It's why I thought Griffin could have worked well for us.

i mean chuck clark is already pushing levine for dime snaps - im not sure id want these guys necessarily as full time linebackers but as dimebackers that's cool - ideally id want a coverage-leaning actual linebacker and chuck clark showed a couple of positive things - maybe as you say 10 lbs and he could play that role for us but i dont want to put square pegs in round holes just to fix the 2nd ILB spot if Young (or anyone else) doesnt work out
