Joe Flacco

I don't know if someone has posted it but it's these types of play Joe isn't making that's killing us.

i mean peyton manning from december of that year through the playoffs was in obvious decline - so often you just have to look for the signifiers and a lot of the time it is continuous poor play excused away by injuries which is the narrative that played out at the end of 2014 but obviously it continued

in december 2014 peyton thew 3 tds to 6 picks and then in the playoffs his ypa started dropping too i think to less than 5 ypa and his completions dropped below 60% - that tells me that his arm was really starting to go
But Peyton has always been a really poor cold weather quarterback in his career, so I don't necessarily think that was a big sign.

it was the extent to which it happened and continued...
like i said the regression often looks like something that can be excused away until suddenly it just cant anymore and with peyton the narrative changed when he looked bad coming into the 2015 season but if we'd been looking carefully it shouldnt really have surprised us even if he often doesnt perform so well in cold weather - especially as a contrast to the previous year's run to the superbowl in 2014...

That one closed the book on Flacco for me. Lost all respect and can't wait to see the change under center.
Please tell me he said that in a joking manner. This is why I want a fiery competitor like Baker Mayfield or someone similar. Flacco is so fucking nonchalant about his career

But like I said, he's always played poorly in the later months (especially being in Denver) and then come back to perform just fine the very next year. There wasn't too much reason to believe that wouldn't happen again.

Also worth noting those six interceptions came in two games. It wasn't like four straight games with one to close out the season.

"The line generated ample time and space (ATS) on 21 of 33 drop backs. They allowed 1 sack and 1 QH, but not a single pressure. If you were somehow unhappy with the offensive line play in this game, you probably can’t enjoy ice cream either."

Please, tell us more about how it's fake news. @Tank

i think its perfectly acceptable to be unhappy with the oline in the run game coz they were crushed in the trenches with so much penetration/push in the backfield on run plays

the pass blocking is good

Oh, this was the pass blocking all the way, not the run blocking. Thread title
