Joe Flacco

Just when you think a Joe Flacco thread can't get any worse, the Yankees invade. Unbelievable!

It had absolutely nothing to do with we Yankee fans. You got to know....

Well with something that outrageously awful, I have to blame someone! :D

But seriously, I don't mind talking about baseball, but this is a Flacco thread. If we want to talk about baseball and why the Yankees 27 titles is overrated, take it to the baseball section.
Good point. But just understand, like the Yankees historically, Joe Flacco was/is ELITE! Do not argue with me, haters!

Like an inside trader? Nah. Oh a traitor, you ask? That would imply that I was an O's fan to begin with. EL OH EL.

Disgusting

Let them hate, Mili. Let these simpletons hate lol.
I just meant as a Ravens fan. It was a joke on the old board about Flacco.

Oh okay I gotcha. I definitely must've missed it, but it's all good. Kinda off topic, I've never really been a fan of our color rush jerseys. For whatever reason, they look a little too similar to the Vikings jerseys (kinda).

Good list but
- can Nelson play tackle? I don't want top 10 pick spent on him if he's going to be a guard
- RB class is loaded, I don't see the value in spending top 10 pick on Barkley - lots and lots of really good backs will be available later
Have you seen that man play I’d use a top 10 pick on him he’s in another league lol

That wasn't the question

not directly but what i'm implying is that it's less likely he'll do so as he lacks accuracy and could at least scramble. when he was younger. palmer was a risk taker BUT when he had to throw a ball he was always more accurate than flacco.

Flacco just has too many flaws. What can he do aside from ''throw it far'' ?

His footwork is awful
he's got bad pocket awareness
easily rattled
cannot throw an accurate long ball to save his life
Can't escape the pocket and scramble

How many years does Flacco have left? Can he have a late career resurgence like Carson Palmer?

I believe Joe can revive his career here in Baltimore if we can address the line, give him a strong reliable rushing attack and an offensive coordinator who can at least use play action to keep the defense honest. Those three things coupled with our defense can get Flacco back to being adequate enough imo. Although I'm honestly ready to make those three changes and then draft a rookie QB and move on from Flacco

It's funny though because when the o-line is consistent and good and he has trust in them most of those issues go away. I feel like he gets too worried about what's happening up front now.

I defintely believe his confidence in his game and the pieces around him is dwindling with each passing (pun intended) game.

You can see it in games the past two seasons, you really can. Sometimes there are games he actually has decent protection but you can tell he is freaked out and throws it way too early. Other games when the protection is terrible he holds onto the ball longer and scrambles better.

Makes no sense to me but honestly you can tell 1st quarter if he has confidence in the guys in front of him. Then by that you can usually tell the outcome of the game.

No doubt. Our offense over the past two seasons seems to be some sort of revolving door one way or another. To an extent, he reminds me of Rivers where it feels like he's overthinking it or doing too much to compensate for everything else on offense.

Man, if this offense gets neglected in the offseason (which I think there's no chance of happening because it's beyond a glaring issue)...........
