Seems you lack awareness in your posting. lol Can’t hit a player in the head, QB or not. This ain’t the first time Kiko has gone QB head hunting.

1st joejoe was not "defenseless", had every chance to run, see the approaching tackle and get down in time. he chose not to.
2nd kiko did not use the crown of the helmet. it was a shoulder blow and a frosty one at that!

not sure what you're saying. you can still use your shoulder to deliver the cranial coup de grace. they can't take head contact out of the game unless they do away with helmets and shouldermar pads!

besides I dearly love headhunters. didn't pay for the fins but believe in taking the penalty in certain situations.

Shoulder to Helmer is also a penalty. It’s not just helmet to helmet. Check the rules

really?....really?

now they got him on hitting a defensive player, but it was a blown call by this eye

now if your sayin the dedicated nfl zebs will throw an arbitrary flag and call a glorious hit "unnessesarity roughness" won't argue with that. but body to head is good football but for defenselss or crown most every game of the week! thank god!

That is where we have differing opinions and I’m fine with they. Based on the YouTube I sent you it looks like he had time to adjust. Sure I’m pretty sure there would have been contact, it wouldn’t have been as bad.

you video won't link, but I've seen it six times. I got the whole game on tape, but only need to watch it again re humpf.
not sure where you guys are. it was NOT helmet to helmet. it was NOT launching. it was a perfectly applied shoulder tackle that made head contact due to joes late dive.

if you guys are seriously saying the shoulder can't hit the head you're lacking common sense. but if you really are saying that heres the rulebook. latest version. point out your authority. I say it was a righteous hit and the kind of football that wins games, our D was just to much for em!

If you click watch YouTube it will work.

From the NFL rule book

Forcibly hitting the defenseless player’s head or neck area with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder, regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him; an

thanks tank, man I love that hit too!

what a machine Alonso is. almost the same play. hoyer took the late dive....kiko threw his hands up tryin to pull off. Lesson?...heres the moral of the story qbs. don't be a ditz and try to extend a play with a gamer lining you up!

no penalty on that one rightfully so. heres the problem if a defender has a mindset he has to back off a qb giving himself up, he will be tentative in his tackle and turn into matt elam. the defenseless player rule has to be judged in context.

Lol @RayRayRaven is a troll idk why you guys are feeding him I can understand the argument he slid late but saying that the hit was okay is a clear sign of a troll lol

I don't know what the other guy's talking about, but he definitely slid late. Play is always going to look different in slow motion, but I still don't think Kiko was intentionally out to injure Joe. People act like it's easy to pull up when 2 people are basically running full speed and you have to react to the other guy.

ravens, you aren't getting a hold of the basics here and kinda morphing the issue. bottom line you can hit the head with the shoulder ok?...unless a ref arbitrarily decides you can't with that one blurb in the rules about roughness. if the shoulder to head wasn't allowed there would be no nfl football, even if refs have the ability to "arbitrarily" say that sometimes head to shoulder is unnecessary roughness.

anyway i'm out. I got college to scout.

It’s a penalty that is from the rule book under defenseless player and since he was sliding he is considered a defenseless player. So shoulder forearm helmet are all penalties. I’m done with this conversation. The penalty was Justified. Do I think it was intentional. No. You have your opinion ams I have mine. Live with it
