I was told I was totally wrong when I said Harbs comments seemed to point toward Hurst at RT, but Harbs has a hard on for Hurst.
I just don’t get it, but I’d think that Roman and Joe D for some reason agree with himI was told I was totally wrong when I said Harbs comments seemed to point toward Hurst at RT, but Harbs has a hard on for Hurst.
The thing is, they’re giving hurst a TON of help with Yanda and TEs and RBs. So even if they had to give Brown that help on passing downs, there is literally no scenario where playing Brown makes our team worse. Our running game would at least be better. My guess is they don't trust him Brown against speed rushers or something to that degree. We face a decent amount this season. Probably that the run blocking trade off isn't worth consistent pressure in the QBs face. Then again, we've seen the people in charge make awful personnel decisions year after year. Said it before and will say it again, I still don't think this is the same line we have at the end of the season.

Obviously it’s the last name. Harbaugh has an obsession with last names. It’s clearly why we drafted Hayden. His plan is to confuse opposing offenses and defenses by making them think it’s Hayden and it’s James and vice versaI was told I was totally wrong when I said Harbs comments seemed to point toward Hurst at RT, but Harbs has a hard on for Hurst.
You and me both. I had zero doubts that hurst would be the starting RT, folks gave every reason for why I was wrong, but all logic in the world sometimes can’t override the harbs factorI was told I was totally wrong when I said Harbs comments seemed to point toward Hurst at RT, but Harbs has a hard on for Hurst.
If dean pees were an offensive coordinator...Obviously it’s the last name. Harbaugh has an obsession with last names. It’s clearly why we drafted Hayden. His plan is to confuse opposing offenses and defenses by making them think it’s Hayden and it’s James and vice versa
I don’t think brown starting leads to consistent pressure, at least not any moreso than hurst. Hurst still has lead feet on his pass set and a lot less physical gifts to work with. Oddly enough hurst is actually a solid run blocker when he isn’t trying to block guys who have room to run, aka edge defenders, I wonder how we can solve this...My guess is they don't trust him Brown against speed rushers or something to that degree. Filmstudy pointed something out that's pretty important and it's the fact that Yanda has been a big help for Hurst. Literally Hurst has been in a prime position for success with some assistance from Yanda, RBs and a TE on chips and help blocks. They've asked a lot of Yanda and have placed a lot of responsilbity on him and he's done nothing but thrive. This might be Yanda's best season in a long time, as he's really came through for us and if we had a RT who can maintain his blocks on his own then this OL would be so much better, especially if you found a upgrade over Alex Lewis.I don’t think brown starting leads to consistent pressure, at least not any moreso than hurst. It doesn’t make sense and the only explanation is that Lewis and hurst are simply harbaughs guys. Hurst is a far better LG than Lewis, but if you move hurst to LG that means Lewis is benched, and harbs can’t have that shit. And start a rookie? Lol fuck outta here. I still don’t understand harbaughs issue with starting rookies when his career began with a rookie QB starting.

He's been solid, but he gets a lot of help that masks his weaknesses. I do think Harbaugh is a Hurst guy, not to be offensive but I don't know how they've really ride hard for this guy.

Hire Rian Johnson, we'd have a good O because that would subvert our expectationsIf dean pees were an offensive coordinator...
WHO NEEDS TALENT WHEN YOU GOT MUH DECEPTION!

Fun???Fun fact:
The Ravens are 8-22 when Flacco throws more than 45 passes in a game and 2-9 when Flacco throws more than 50 passes in a game.
These types of statistics are always so skewed. Most teams run at the end of a game to waste clock if they have a good lead. I’d like to keep him to less than 45 to have closer to a 60/40 balance pass/run, but not because Flacco doesn’t win when he passes this much. Even staying balanced can be skewed towards the end of each half.Fun fact:

Can you compile the record of all teams with 50+ passes in one game for say the past 5 years?Fun fact:

I agree; the statistics don't tell the entire story, but it isn't like each game is heavily out of control when the Ravens go pass heavy. The Ravens never trailed by more than 6 points against the Browns, but aired it out 56 times on a day where Denzel Ward was feasting and Flacco was struggling. It's these types of games that are so incredibly frustrating. These types of statistics are always so skewed. Most teams run at the end of a game to waste clock if they have a good lead. You actually can easily, but it'd be pretty time consuming. Can you compile the record of all teams with 50+ passes in one game for say the past 5 years?
Id imagine there's no easy way of doing that though
