Joe Flacco

http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news...s-Injury/04906ef5-0c2b-4a73-981f-51500b90b9f9

“We’ve got to be better off early in games,” Flacco said Sunday. “That’s the type of game that’s going to benefit us right now, is being good early and then putting teams away.”

So, Flacco said that the Ravens offense has to "be good early" and then "put teams away?"

How in the hell are they going to do that when the offense has only scored a total of 16 pts their last 2 games and their opponents offenses combined for a total of 90 pts in the last 2 games? With that type of b.s. from the offense....they are demonstrating that they are not good enough and that they can't put anyone away. Wake the hell up!
Lol what did we do the first two games??? It’s like everyone has completely forgotten the first two games we played good football the first two now we’ve played bad for two and it’s like you act like those games never happened lol

im tired of the same crap that has basicaly been said for 4 years.
JOe flacco is a crap quarterback. His numbers prove it, the eye test proves it

he says the same old shit every fucking week when he doesnt show up.
No Joe, we need you take an astronomical paycut from your current contract or move on
same goes with harbaugh

it's clear that flacco can never ever be the QB we need and his glorious spurt in 2012 was just that
a glorious spurt which in the long run screwed our franchise among other things such as bad drafting and stupid contract/dead money

this organization is a declining one.

For better or worse we're handcuffed to Flacco, sure he won the SB MVP but he's been slowly coasting and regressing since. I really hope that he can turn it around but its been a long time since he's played well.

and btw, everyone thinks magical things are going to happen in this 2 year plan? what makes you all say that? everyone thinks it's going to be the next year? where are our young up and coming superstars..not just good players? superstars?

I think we're looking like the new whooping boys in the AFC north from here on out.

regular season he is bottom quarter of qbs

yeah. but our FO recently extended both joejoe and harball. they love em!

that run in 2012 was magic. for four weeks joejoe was the next tom brady. he liked caldwells schemes. he had bonded with boldin. he was playing to get paid. he has never put together 4 similar weeks before or since. as a team we was the naz! only problem was ozze and decost really thought it was joejoe. so did bisciotti. in a million years would not have shown boldin out the door for a measly 2 million which was horribly misspent. those off season moves illustrated how out of touch our FO had suddenly become. its only gone downhill since.

this organization is a declining one.

clearly. you lose your aging all pros and don't replace them with like kind you decline

turnovers and two teams really hurtin early. we have a good chance to beat Oakland with ej manual

Those 2 games were against who man? Oh! The bengals and the browns. Gotcha! They were nothing more than a smoke screen. The "excuse" for the Jaguar game was possible jet lag. Kool! What was the "excuse" you want to make for Sunday vs. the Steelers? And you said absolutely NOTHING in justification of the Ravens offense ONLY scoring 16 pts in the last 2 games while being outscored 90 pts by their opponents offense. This Ravens offense is trash! Wake the hell up! -_- :D

And you never said anything about the first two games we have two good and two bad games I think it’s unfair to try and justify against who and how I think it you step back and look at the big picture we have two good W against DIVISION opponents and Two bad L’s to a young talented Jags team with a good D and the steelers... if we continually play like this I’ll agree but until then I’ve seen enough to not give up hope on the offense but to take half the sample size of games and say well that’s this or that isn’t fair you are making judgments off the two most recent games... I do agree this offense looks like shit and the first two games we look okay not great but we also got good leads and played clock management so we didn’t get a total look at the offense... either way we shall see in the weeks to come but I haven’t gave up hope anotherawful performance and next week I may be with you but for now I think it’s unfair to sway one way or the other

it’s a team game if anyone expects this offense to carry this is sadly mistaken the offense did exactly what they needed to do to win those games we got a lead and we ran with it just how it should be

Come on man. Bears beat these Steelers and JAX lost to Jets.

Ya know, the more I think about it, the more I think Joe doesn't finish the season.
I think he is on IR by the end of November.

( BTW anyone who cheers for that I will loose every ounce of respect for you )

Ok fair enough!

Of course I'm glad we're 2-2 and not 0-4. That's a given and goes without saying but here's the thing that you are missing when it comes to me and my personal opinions and statements about this offense. They are not just coming from a place of the last 2 games (although I am zeroing in on those because they are recent) but from the last few years/seasons. We're seeing and saying the same ole' b.s. about Flacco and this offense year in and year out.
So, unlike you, I have seen enough! Nothing has changed! Absolutely nothing!

Am I throwing in the towel on the season? Of course not! I'd truly like to think that the Ravens could win ALL their next games and end their season with an astonishing 14-2 record. Now, "realistically" that probably won't happen and to me, realistically, based upon what this offense has done and has not done over the past few seasons and is now seemingly being carried over into this season as well? I'm not so overly optimistic about this Ravens offense whatsoever. That mess I witnessed firsthand on Sunday was enough for me man! It has been piling up and piling up-they are trash!

So, let's see "IF" they can prove me wrong @RavensFan419 on Sunday. So far? In my eyes? THEY HAVEN'T!

So. It's the NFL? The expression "any given sunday" holds a lot of weight. Even bad teams are capable of having good weeks. Good teams are capable of having shit weeks. And mediocre teams, which is honestly where we sit overall can go either way.

This isn't the NBA, where parity is nonexistent. Even the bad teams have some very good players. There isn't a Brooklyn Nets in the NFL right now. Or an Indiana Pacers(let's face it.. Without George they're fucked). The Giants are 0-4. They have it so much worse right now. We are 2-2. We went through rough patches during the SB season as well..

Sure, as of it now it looks bleak. But its's the NFL: anything can happen. We could beat Oakland without Carr and then beat chicago and then we have a 4-2 record. Defense still has time to get it's shit together. Not sure if they will.. But it's possible. There are still a good portion of winnable games on the schedule, even if we aren't favored.

That notion is utter BS. Any given Sunday is and has always been valid. Jaguars do have an incredibly talented defense. Sure, they lost to New York but that doesn't take away from the fact that they have a lot of studs on that defense. The Bears have two very good young running backs and solid defense. But they suck and should lose out the season I guess. I guess the Patriots are also fucked.

Joe Flacco needs to do what he has to do for us to win these next 2 games. These next 2 are on him. If he can outplay the opposing qbs these next 2 weeks we should be ok

I can't accept "any given sunday" notion when we get completely embarrassed by a team that next week loses against the worst team in the league. That doesn't hold any weight for me.

Then I can't help you. Even the Browns last year beat somebody and they were the worst team I've seen since the 2008 lions. And the Jets have won two damn games. I guess the Bills, who lost to them earlier, are pure shit. Even though they're currently first in the damn division. Houston got their asses kicked earlier by Jacksonville too. I guess their blowout win vs. The Titans means that Tenessee is a shit team too.

It's the NFL: weird things happen. Alex Smith is currently having an MVP level season(though I doubt he can sustain it). Sure, our losses were fucking embarassing: leave them in the past and move on. The season is too short to dwindle on the past like this. It's a new week where litearlly anything can happen. For all we know we can go into Oakland and the defense somehow returns to form and we kick their asses.

Any given sunday. There's a reason the saying exists. It looks bleak, even I'll admit it. But the potential for turnaround is present. It's not like we're 0-4.

I'll bite @Lost_In_Translation.

You mentioned what these other teams like the Jaguars and Bears have. Specifically on offense, what do the Ravens have?

Browns did not trash anybody 44 7 and made them look like high school team.
I am angry because we play absolute crap football 3rd year in a row and I see no changes and improvement in the near future.
